    Flashing US firmware in Europe?

I imagine they'd want serial numbers then, Shimano aren't stupid. In fact we're probably being watched right now. Remember, just because you're paranoid it doesn't mean people aren't talking about you.....!

    Flashing US firmware in Europe?

That's what I tried but it struggled to download E Tube via the VPN. Also thought that the motor/controllers might be set to a specific region when first registered before they get to the customer?

    Flashing US firmware in Europe?

Well I tried deleting the E Tube app and downloading again with a fake IP app running with a US address but it wouldn't connect. Possibly I was too impatient? Gave up on that and updated the firmware for the motor and E6000 controller (display unit was already up to date) with a fake GPS app...

    Review Nukeproof horizon pedals

Hi Kernow - any further thoughts on the Saints vs Nukeproofs now you've had a few weeks on them? Moving back to flats after 2 years on SPDs was part of the reason for my big off (although mainly stupidity). So retail therapy time and I want a pedal with a bigger platform than my XT trails. Was...

    Flashing US firmware in Europe?

I had been having the exact same thought and found this. Was trying to get onto the Shimano Steps USA website today but no joy, assume the IP address is rhe issue. Might have ro try a dodge, the 20mph limit would be perfect

What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

It was heading into the purple jumps but was actually just a crash caused by inattention- i didn't see a tree stump at the edge of the trail, hit my pedal on it really hard and got highsided headfirst into a tree in the blink of an eye. Was unlucky how it all lined up but also could have...

What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

Ta, dry trails and missing a four day trip to Wales is a bummer but more than offset by still being able to walk!

What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

As it happens I have a 2.8 Minion DHR on the back so will be able to do a direct width comparison to the 2.6 MM on 30mm rims when ot turns up. Unfortunately I won't be able to do any sort of ride review for another 6 weeks as I hit a tree stump and high sided myself off my E-Sommet head first...

What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

I put a 29er 2.35 on my analogue bike about 2 years ago and it has been off for about 2 weeks since, brilliant all rounders IMO and I don't find them particularly draggy either.

Considering buying Commencal Meta Power 650B+ Fox

    1. Christ, could everyone just get a grip before this place falls into the trap of so many other forums? Bickering just makes a lot of people with valid input not bother and stagnation results. There's a lot of ebike haters out there, the last thing we need is petty infighting. 2. I'm told the...

Article Range Check - How far can you go?

28 miles and 3900 ft of climbing on my E-Sommet this morning, 90% eco and 10% climbing in trail. One bar showing, probably a few more miles left but doubt I'd have got much more than 30
