    Vitus E-Sommet VR

Cheers, will try it like this but if I do want to move the brake lever slightly left I might get one 170mm Reverb, 36" inside leg. Think you can see from the photo I could run a 200mm dropper. One slightly annoying thing is that because the hose is cable tied to stop it fouling the shock you...

And here's the 6000 shifter fitted with Reverb 1x remote. Unfortunately it seems that the Guide RE have different clamps to the Guides so the MMX adaptor doesn't fit, not sure if SRAM make a compatible version. However this setup works well for me although I have big hands, others might want to...

    E-bike and car roof racks

I think most roof carriers have a weight limit of about 20kg, removing the battery gets most bikes just under that. Agreed on the lateral loading though, dont fancy the thought of taking corners at any sort of speed....

    E-bike and car roof racks

Taking the battery off makes it a lot more manageable. Interested in this as have a company car so don't want to go to the expense of a tow bar even though that is clearly the best option. I notice one of the CRC reviews for the E-Sommet mentions using a Thule 591 without issue - anyone else...

    Vitus E-Sommet VR

Anyone replaced the dropper post yet? I went to put my 170 reverb on earlier but the drawcord I taped on detached. Can only fish from the front end as the cable entry is only just larger than a cable/hose. Really convoluted around the motor, unsurprisingly. Going to try string and a Hoover...

It's not just preference though, it's also perception. So whilst I may not be a former semi-pro DH racer maybe my perception as an average trail rider moving to an ebike has more relevance to others of a similar background? So whilst you are telling me that my opinions are wrong and I have...

    Vitus E-Sommet VR

Gary - yes agree that it's not easy to throw around in the air or skip over rock and roots but I wasn't expecting it to be to be honest, is any ebike? The new Canyon might be more so but I think the chainstays are too short for me at nearly 6'4". It is bloody brilliant though at being flung into...

Also the standard 2.5 is Maxxgrip compund with the DD casing and the 2.8 I have fitted is maxxterra with Exo casing. I only had one short ride before changing so not meaningful but if anything I found it rolls better

A lot of ebikes come with 2.8s, I have mounted mine and just got back from a ride. The stability and traction were insane, disagree that it handles like a pig, I think it absolutely flies downhill! I'm loving it, even better than I had hoped for

Hello all , got my XL E-Sommet on Thursday, only one ride so far and can't wait to get out again! I have my 170 reverb with paddle shifter waiting to go on, ordered an E6000 controller last night after reading about them here. Mine is coming from Tredz for £35 (they have them for 40 and there...
