Trek specific EMTB Lite was a real gamechanger and assistance feels much natural compared to EMTB.
Would be quite a surpricing if one would keep the normal tour compared to dynamic tour+.
I would say that if the riding is dynamic the assistance mode should be also dynamic.
Why not just buy 23,96 euros stand? Hebie Turrix Bicycle Stand.
The colourful ones are a more expensive: 25,53 euros.
Though I fully understand if the rides are so long, that you have to lube the chain during it.
Yes. The LBS will use the Bosch E-bike Diagnostic Tool tool to update firmware or change it's setup.
To be able to update the firmware through an eBike Connect application would be actually bigger news than Tour+. Hopefully the almighty Germanic conglomerate will present this nice feature in...
Free to watch doesn't mean free of criticism. When you publish something to internet you make at the same an agreement to receive opinions - good and bad. I think I just misread Rustys post.. sorry

I was thinking the Rhyolite for a little downhill riding with elevator lifting and for the dark, slippery and chilly autumn rides in the forest.
Any thoughts on Dainese Rhyolite 2? My feeling is that they have quite a long history producing motorcycle riding and safety equipment and at least there the quality was very good.
I have a feeling that before the software update this spring the only way was changing the drive unit. Mine got replaced once, but the error came back: couple of times temporary and then permanent. Software update fixed this and it was also the message I got from Bosch.
If this would be the case, there would a warning about it in bikes manual. The bike has to withstand such a rider that has been defined in Trek specification. Hitting the crank to rocks is enormous force that can break also the motor internal parts.
I'm a little surprised if the carbon ones are...
So I made a kind of full service:
Disassembled the front caliper to two pieces (nothing special really..)
Took the pistons out
Cleaned the pistons
Lubed the pistons with brakefluid
Bleeded the brakes with Jagwire Tektroset with two syringe
The front brake became better and the lever doesn't...
