Maybe I was just surprised about the amount of mud etc sitting on the motor and electrical connections but they are designed hopefully to keep the shite out , something else apart from range anxiety I'll need to get over ?? ebike nooby ?
Yeah true , I wish I'd taken a pic of the mud in the cover lol I suppose wet mud etc will still have a cooling affect on the motor ?
Yeah I suppose mesh will collect crap quicker , I suppose I'll just have to clean behind the cover on a regular basis

Hi just a question about the motor cover on the Gen 4 motor , I removed it this morning and having done only 4 ride since I received it a week ago it's full of mud etc took ages to clean it especially around the electrical connections ,
I was thinking of glueing in some mesh on the upper holes...
I think the 21 models have this speed sensor system ,well mine does, I suppose the downside of this is that the magnet clamp/bracket goes onto the centre lock nut so you would have to stick with center lock disks but you'd have a better choice of disks to choose from ?
I've got the Enduro wide 29er wheels had them for 2 years and had a total beating , still running true and bearings are still good but I do service them quite often ? well worth the money imo
First ride on the Orbea Wild FS H10 today , 21 miles of mostly forest tracks in tour and emtb modes but did one of the downhill trails from the mast down at Durris woods , impressed with the Fox 38 performance so far might need to remove a volume spacer but all in all pretty plush , set it to...
Not had any experience with Stan's wheels but if you are after a great set of wheels at a great price go for a set of Hunt Enduro wide wheels or the trail wide , great wheels British company, good after service etc
I've got the Enduro wide ones they have had lots of abuse and still running...

Probably a stupid question but how do you remove the rear wheel ??
Do you undo it on the cassette side and pull the axle out ??
