Best of luck with your new business. In what way would you entice buyers towards your bikes away from more established brands? Are you going on pricepoint only or are you going for some out-there designs? We have a local manufacturer over here in NZ that appeals to the market (usually oldies) by...
The paint has come off my 7 in exactly the same place. I gotta say I saw it when inspecting the motor guard after a nasty case out over a rock. I was more worried that te Ali had cracked but the paint is so thick there it looks worse than it is.
Yeah I got mine for $7K T7 sale & 2 months later are $2K more expensive. I donm't think they'll get cheaper with riding season starting. Ayear or so ago the LBS was saying focus's were being ordered straight off the factory assembly line they couldn't get enough.
Those new Meridas look good.
Yeah they cover themselves pretty well don't they designing something supposedly to stop damage happening during an 'accident' then being able to conveniently absolve themselves of responsibility beause it is accident damage.
When you actually think about it, it is negligent of them to design a...
We used a trailgator when the kids were little. It always made people smile when we rode past especially when the little one would have her feet on the handlebars while I was peddling hard up a hill.
It was a great way to cover distance/ rough tracks to get to the easier places for them to ride...
Stop the press! I have made a startling & potentially embarassing discovery. My one up seat post works buttery smooth with little force needed on the lever if I unweight the saddle, push the lever then sit down on the seat to drop it. If I try it with my weight on the saddle the force needed on...
I go with DHF 2.5 simply because they are on special a lot & the DHRs aren't. Have a read of my post re not being able to get the tyre on the rim though first if you are like me & not used to dealing with tubeless setups & want to have a crack yourself.
re the one up dropper, I just spent the...
Yeah while I was waiting for my maxxis to turn up I thought that the XR5s weren't as bad as I initially thought. Then I put my Maxxis on & night & day handling & confidence.
I'm presuming got a Trek? If you have the 130mm dropper I'd recommend changing to a 180mm. I found the 130mm was always in...
Burped the front tyre today on a drop with sharp corner under it & as I flew gracefully through the air to inspect the foliage of some of our native trees I noticed that the front tyre was flat. I tried pumping up the tyre with my hand pump but no good.
Would I have been able to fit a tube...
Great smile! We had a trailgator for towing the daughters bike. Each time I looked around as I struggled up a hill instead of peddling she'd have her feet up on the handlebars smiling back at me. Good times!
Yep good. Don't get hung up on what they call the "Boost" it is merely a run on of the motor to help you over rocks/ roots etc. It won't launch you over things but merely continue the motor running for a second or two while you can backpedal or stop pedalling to stop pedal strike.
The stock stem is 31.8mm diameter. The carbon oneups are 35mm diameter. So you have to get a 35mm dia stem.
I went with a Funn stem as it was the cheapest.
Trek have a system called the knock block which has a locking mechanism inside the headset to stop the forks hitting the downtube. The...
I never use turbo mode unless its a straight long hill. I think it's because of the same issue you are experiencing. I just keep it in EMTB & pedal & leave it to the 'auto gearbox' to sort out which power level is appropriate. From what I understand (& would happily be corrected) the power...
