My bike quit on me out on the trail today.
The display lit up like this:
The motor won't drive, and it shuts itself off in under a minute.
I was able to get this from the app:
The only button that does anything on the display is the walk button. When I press it the lights displayed changes...
Finally got some real elevation numbers. Got 3041' in 15 miles and used up 71% of my battery. On my local trails, I usually need 20 miles to get 1000' of gain.
I went camping in the VA Appalachian mountains

I found the wild comfrey in bloom.
Hard to see, but the ragweed is blooming too.
I butt dialed the emergency number, and they called me right back. Whoops.
I tried zip tying my cassette to spokes so I can shift while coasting. This worked...
Wadded myself and the bike up pretty good today. Fortunately the bike wasn't hurt. I'm even pretty OK. Probably will be a bit sore. Did get 18 miles in though.
Crash site, bike made it a fair bit further than I did.

My attempt at obtaining the clutch boss is going slowly. I ordered one from a Yamaha parts supplier and the part is not expected until late March.
Play is minimal so I reinstalled the motor. I'll monitor the play and see if it starts getting worse.
I'm definitely not cracking the motor open...
I've been hearing creaking noises while pedaling hard. After checking my motor mount bolts and finding them well tight, I noticed some up and down play in the drive side crank.

You can remove the spacer, install the shock without air and cycle the suspension to make sure it all works. If you get any interference, just put the spacer back.
I'm running a 170mm fox 38 and it's a big upgrade over the rockshox 35 gold fork. Much more plush. I think I would also be happy with 160mm of travel, but I found the 170 fork at a good price.
