    I forgot, yes, it is easy to fit, you just unplug the cables remove the display and plug the cables in the new EW-EN100, I believe it includes a couple snap in to hold it to the brake hoses. For this plugging and unplugging it is better to use the Shimano tool TL-EW02, it only cost 2,5€

    SW-M9050 is compatible with E8000 motor, I'd try another cable. To not damage the connector, use the Shimano tool TL-EW02
