Yep no problem , bear with , it's easier to do from my laptop.
Our preferred start is from Talybont on Usk. Up the steep ramp in The White Heart car park and pick up the tramway bridleway , which is where we started yesterday .
Then the last 4 or 5 km are not too painful as they can be done on...
We try to do this ride twice a year
Once in summer, once in winter.
Yesterday was the day
Awesome day with a hilarious bunch of mates
Weather was kind , 7 degrees , dry and sun even appeared.
Loads of surface water and saturated ground but definitely rideable.
Thoroughly recommend this ride ...
Sorry got my sizing ups and downs the wrong way around in previous post - now corrected !
Size down if 18 version
Sand / orange is a 19 im pretty sure , so probably a medium would be good
Might be worth a quick email to Dirtlej
They've always got back to me promptly
£245 is good for a Core ?
I'd probably go medium if the medium Endura fitted you ok
I tried the large Endura and it fitted my upper body ok but was baggier than my large Dirtsuit.
Endura legs were stupid long as well though
Dirtlej is definitely a slimmer fit .
Definitely size down though if you find an 18 bargin .
So...
This is my second winter using a Pro suit and I luv it .
Got the 18 and 19 version cos I found a bargin and ride 2 or 3 times a wk , so I rotate usage and don't have to put a minging suit back on .
Sizing from 19 on is now accurate . I have a large and it fits me well
14 st , 5ft 9 , 45 chest ...
5hr round trip for me as well
Awesome service
Chris gave me his mobile number for an issue that turned out to be nothing.
Also sorted a 18 Levo motor issue that I didn't buy from them . No quibbles, changed motor while I went for a brew.
Went to them , due to their reputation , to buy my 19...
Going to try Mullet set up tomorrow on a big ride
Already had some 27.5 wheels and some 2.6 Magic Mary's which should help in the muddy conditions im expecting
If I like the setup I'll play around with other tyres over the next few wks
Thanks for the headsup Dude ?
More concerned with battering the undercarriage of my bike than maths.
Regularly get to ride my bike on proper trails at least 2 or 3 times a week but thanks for your concern and valuable input ?
Ive been running my Levo 19 with 27.5 wheels - 2.8 Magic Mary front and 2.8 butcher grid rear all summer
Personally I really like that set up , it may not be to other riders taste but it works for me and I'm not really inclined to debate the rights and wrongs of it .
Ive lengthed the fork to...
Been using these for 6 yrs - Luv em !
Lots of options
Single lamps or kits available
Pricing isn't too bad
Direct from Australia , had them in 5 days
Lighting Kits - Ay Up Lighting Systems
I put some sintered pads on my Levo by mistake , howled like a banshee
Put organic ones straight back on , quiet as a church mouse apart from very occasional squeal when brakes first applied in foul conditions.
Organics wear quicker but the peace is worth it
Ive used ski/snowboard double lense goggles for mtb for many yrs
Much more efficient in reducing misting
They are basically 2 lenses held together , about 2mm apart with a foam edging , which allows condensation to escape
Particularly like the Dragon brand . Loads of pretty colours , lenses can...
