I’m in a similar position at the moment although I haven’t popped my piston out...I can’t be bothered servicing the pistons as I’ve wanted to upgrade for a while anyway.... So I can’t decide between the Magura MT7 ‘Pro’ or the Hope Tech 3 V4...need another month or two to save some penny’s...

Just had a chat with Specialized Rider care (uk) They checked and confirmed that my new motor (31/08/20) is the 2.2 ?

I had a new 2.1 motor fitted recently, it has a manufacturing date of 31/08/20....When I asked if the new motor will have the ‘upgrades’ I was told yes by Specialized....I’ve recently been told that it will only have the upgraded belt ?‍♂️ It feels smoother and is quieter so I’m happy.

Battery fully charged is 491wh....so lost a bit ? Bike is always stored inside the house...however most of my recent rides have been ‘in the cold’....looking back in Blevo the higher motor output coincided with warmer conditions ?‍♂️ More bollocks ??

Not an issue for me but I’ve noticed that my max motor power is peaking at approximately 715w (max 717w) since I had the 7.4.2 update and new motor. On 7.3.6 it was peaking at approximately 750w (max I could find was 754w) These figures are from my Blevo stats, I started using Blevo back in...

I noticed that...after having a new motor installed with the updated 7.4.2 firmware the acceleration setting was reset to 0%...soon cranked that back up to 100% ?

Has it really got the same motor? So the 2.2 is a 2.1 but with all the new upgraded bits? (belt, sbearing, crankshaft) If so...what motor manufacturing date is on the “new 2.1’s/2.2s”? I’m sure it was a “different” motor...for example it has a larger belt?....or I might be talking complete...

Google ‘Pro torque wrench” it’s about £80 quid. Quality bit of kit ? Ticking noise....check the rotor is not slightly catching on the brake caliper. (On the inside of where it fits on the post mount) if it has been catching they’ll be a tiny silver area where the paint has worn off. that’s a...
