Hi @Sherman, this is a very common fault and not unique to Sram I have had this on both Guide and Code and exactly the same with a M8000 Shimano, it's caused by poorly moulded plastic pistons picking up and seizing in the bore.
Like you I now really like Sram brakes and compared to my previous...
@Tim29 I love that you are so passionate and knowledgeable about suspension but to be honest most of of us do very well on the standard specced equipment and I doubt many of us, my self included would ever notice the difference the type of work you are talking about would actually make to us. I...
He Doomanic, interesting  you have obviously been told something different to what my mate herbie was told when he had his new motor fitted about 3 months ago. The dealer who did the job, Certini here in Saltash were fantastic as they were not the actual supplying dealer, but our local...
Luckily for me I am smack bang in the middle of the range of adjustments that my Rockshox suspension package cater for, so no need for revalving.
I have fitted the new 2019 air spring to my 2018 RCT3 Lyrics and the Super deluxe coil RCT shock needed a different weight spring, but that's all...
Surely they would invoke their wear and tear clause?

I seriously doubt that the warranty period will be extended beyond the two years from the original date of sale ?
If they do then that would be truly amazing customer care from Specialized. I suspect that as time goes on, this particular type of problem will become a real headache for owners of...
Hi Taffyteg, just had a quick look at 2018 and 2019 model year Kenevo expert 6 Fattie and they show SRAM PG-1130, 11-speed, 11-42t, which is definitely non XD, no idea about other models of the bike and again he does not actually say what model he has
Always searching for the perfect setup, which does not actually exist of course, it's always going to be a compromise and what works well at one location nearly always works less well at another location. For me finding a good base setting is the key and then being able to adjust it to work well...
Hi Taffyteg, you are probably right unfortunately he does not make it clear what cassette he has, except that it's "not XD" so therefore I'm assuming it's either a Shimano or Sram PG class cassette. I have edited my previous post to make this clearer :)
You need to select the Shimano freehub body, if you have a M8000 cassette or Sram PG . You need to make sure that you order boost sizing, if your bike has boost spacings of 110 front and 148 rear and make sure you get J spoke variant of these wheels and not the straight pull.
I think the coil shock would be the decider for me, it's a game changer. Kernow is a big 29er fan, but when we bought ours the 29er had not been introduced, I asked him very recently if he would have gone with a 29er had it been available but he said he was very happy with the 650b.
All bikes suffer from loose bolts from time to time, especially when new, the Commencal is no better or no worse and is certainly not a safety issue. The Meta Power is a very well designed and built bit of kit and is superb value for money. Which model were you looking at?
