Massive difference in ease of tyre change with the bonty tape removed. I've just gone to a DD on the back from a exo+ & cc & don't know if I'm going to put a cc back in- they're pretty grunty.
Heaps of videos on youtube. Add the sealant after like normal either from the side or valve. I didn't find the cushcore difficult to work with just the new tyre but depends on your rim some make it very easy & others harder
And don't forget good grunty tyre levers- not the nice small lightweight ones left over from the D grade road cycling series you did in 1993 that fit nicely in the bottom of your waist pack.

Thats a good point. You're correct the rear axle wouldn't be affected by the mino link. I'm wondering if I took the pedal height difference & assumed the axle would be raised the same amount. Not a particuarly sound scientific method!!

My bike shop told me ther is only one machine in NZ that could change the settings for my mullet & they prob wouldn't do it because i can change back to 29. Sounds ridiculous to me so taking that with a grain of salt but what did you do?
Yeah I can't believe that I'm afraid. I've just changed from 203 to 220 & the only difference really is it locks up quicker - there's no discernable feeling of increased braking. On the front, yes I can feel there is more stopping power but on the rear it is purely heat dissapation & less wooden...
