Suspension is one of those things that, for a lot of people, is like electricity, if its working right, you don’t think about it as its just in the background doing its thing.
But when it’s not working right or if you’re a tinkerer (or gear head like me), then its a different story, one that...
I’m assuming that your frame is ok to handle the 170mm. That being the case, watch the video I shared—it should get you back to a starting point that you can build off of.
You should use the bleed valves to clear your lowers at the start but can probably skip the token part as it doesn’t sound...
It’s great on both but thats also pretty dependent on how you build it out. I built mine up from the RS180 frameset and it’s honestly a stupid-expensive build that is focused on a best of everything approach. The off-the-shelf builds are good and will not treat you wrong. I honestly can’t ride...
Found this setup video on YouTube and it’s basically what I was going to recommend you do, so I’m going to be lazy and just share the video instead.
And, if you don’t have any tokens installed and skip the first part about taking them out, don’t forget to use the bleeder valves on your lowers...
What are your current settings (HSC/LSC/Reb)? What's your current Sag? What size is the fork? Do you have the bleed valves on your Zeb? How many hours on the fork? What are you running in the rear? And what are the settings there? Does the rear shock feel good?
I have something I've been...
I grabbed some shots from other people's All Trails reviews to show some sections of the test ride - sorry for some of them being pretty low res.
I felt the solid mid-stroke support and had no top-out or bottom-out; the biggest drops were only 2-3ft drop, so that was no surprise.
I did feel...
TF Tuned’s calc showed me on a 482 (others showed me mid 500s) vs. the 420 that Vorsprung has the coil set at...I need to check with them as they didn't seem to note that I told them that I was running 182mm in the rear as the 75/50 has a different Cascade linkage than the RS180 but 7mm of...

Product name: Vorsprung Telum
Price paid: $1200
Score (out of 10): 10
Review: After chasing the “coil-like” feel enough to know that this state of “perfection” doesn’t exist in the land of the air shock, I ran into the Telum—while looking at a Secus for a more coil-like...
I did the upgrade on my SDLX Ult and it was a marked improvement over the stock can. Definitely more squish and a coil-like feel — I think it is worth doing.
Check eBay for takeoffs, and you can probably get everything but the freehub and the chain in one shot...that's what I did when I upgraded my older XC bike to AXS. You might also need to look at your derailleur hanger, but maybe not. If it's UDH, then go transmission mine wasn't on my Santa...
Whelp, I can confirm that if you throw a stupid amount of money in the form of upgrades (i.e., 3.1 Damper upgrade, a DSD Runt, and a Vorsprung Secus) at an already amazing fork like the Zeb, you basically get an amazing plush fork that feels great off the top, in the middle and provides so much...
Sucks that you weren't able to find an LBS that was willing to help...did you check Bike Bros in Guildford? Looks like they should be Bosch certified, and they do new bike assembly for e-bikes for 75 GBP -- My Sister-in-law is into bikes and lives in Camberley this and Spokes in Bagshot were...
Sorry that you had these issues but I don’t think it’s realistic to compare Crestline to any of the brands you referred to (Specialized/Santa Cruz/YT/Canyon) as the scale of Crestline’s operations and annual revenue is not even remotely comparable to those long-standing major brands and their...
Yes, I found an independent mobile repair guy and had him do all three. I'm good doing everything else, but I draw that line at suspension; too much chance I will fuck it up... It took him about 5 hours to do all three, but he did a solid job; no complaints, and I will have him back to throw on...
Secus goes on tomorrow along with the 3.1 Charger upgrade and a King Can for SDLX Ultimate (while I'm waiting for the Tellum). Should be a plush day tomorrow.
