I just bought a Cannondale Neo3 with 2023 Bosch Performace CX Smart System, the bike is sold with "Lights preinstall", with means that in the charger box there are a couple cables that connect to the motor and should be routed routed to the front and rear lights. But I do not know if the lights...
Last Black Friday I bought a 2023 Moterra Neo 3 XL, Price Tag 5999€, normally sold at 4799€, on Sale at 3699€, which is a very good price.
Some of the components are low spec (RS Yari, Brakes Shimano BR-M420) but it was no problem for me because I already have a Fox 36 Factory Grip 2 and...
Since Black Friday I am a newbie Bosch user (Before I had Shimano E8000), I purchased my new Bosch powered bike (Smart System Drive Unit BDU3740 CX) manufactured on May 22th 2023 with the wrong understanding that in the short future I'd be able to add the Bosch Power More Extender, but after a...
Have you tried to configure the Assist Level in etube or STunlocker?
Does your motor reaches a higher temperature (than usual) when assisting?
Any Error in the display?
The motor "mechanical issues" normally are accompanied by strange noises coming from the motor, one of the issues that are...
Shimano motors also reserve a percentage of the battery charge for the lights. Riding without lights is a safety concern, so all motor manufacturers do the same, else they could risk being sued in case of accident caused by the lights powered off.

I went to a local shop where they have around 20 bikes on display:
* 2 of them were Orbea Rise with Shimano EP8
* 15 (Orbea Wild, Scott, Mondraker, Cube...) were Bosch powered
* 3 Turbo Levo with Brose
I also read many posts about Santa Cruz issues with Shimano Motor, new battery for EP801...
Interesting topic and interesting discussion. From previous posts I understood that Molykote PG-75 was the way to go, but now we have another contender, Molykote EM-50L.
Food for thought: I am attaching technical specs of both greases so somebody with the right knowledge can justify and...
