Swamps of Valley Forge
It's been unseasonably warm here so of course the vegetation thinks it's summer and has overgrown the trails. Got a thorny vine wrapped around the rear brake disk and had to clear it out the (brand new!) brake pads by the side of the trail.
There’s a list of compatible Garmin devices here.

I picked up the Edge 530 on Ebay for pretty cheap and it works fine with the H30. Not the easiest thing to navigate with but I still prefer it to mounting an expensive smartphone on...
Just looking at it and the Rise frame, I didn’t think it would fit so I checked the SRAM UDH compatibility page and only the Oiz, Rallon, and Alma are compatible.

The ERGOWAVE was a game-changer for me. I had tried WTB, Fizik, Ergon, etc before I saw a video from a bike fitter who recommended the ERGOWAVE for riders experiencing perinium pain. I’ve got one on my gravel bike and my EMTB. No trouble with the rails.
Cost might be another factor skewing age higher. I know 25 year-old me would have fainted at the cost of my EMTB, even adjusted for inflation, and I have the "low-end" model.
First day this year the weather has coordinated with my schedule so I got some trail time at Valley Forge.
I admit I'm a bit of a wimp about the cold. I suppose I should get some warmer gear and head out when it's under 45F (7C) that way there will be fewer walkers on the trail. 😁
There was a discussion about these not too long ago.

Cell balancing is a likely cause. Multi-cell battery packs need cell balancing so that all the cells are charged fully without overchaging any of them. They discharge at slightly different rates due to a varity of factors.
I also consulted the RAD method to size my Rise. What i got from it was that the most important dimension was bottom bracket to effective handlebar center. Upthread, some have explained how to check this with the floor or stepladder methods but i didn't have a bike to test at first. So I used...
