If I'm riding alone I like to listen to music, I find it helps me to keep pedalling away.
I recently bought some Bose tempo glasses with some different lens options and I really like them, plus I can very easily take calls hands free without needing to physically access my phone.
They fit...
I 'took a chance' on the relatively unknown brand 'Fulgur' and bought their 'Mula'.
It's absolutely incredible.
Other bikes in our family fleet, for me to directly compare with include:-
A 2021 Lapierre GLP-2 Team (a great bike, but the suspension isn't anything like as good as the Mula and...
I have cushcores and I love them, BUT the 'Rimpact' inserts seem to get a lot of praise, and they're really cheap in comparison, though I haven't used them myself.
I've has a GX AXS on one of my bikes for about a year, but it hasn't done massive mileage, I reckon I've charged it around five times in all.
Up to now I've been mostly happy with it. The ergonomics of the supplied paddle were terrible and I have no idea why they don't just supply the updated...
This is pretty much exactly my experience too. The end result is that I'm much faster with CC than I was without them and I also have fewer pinch punctures and (touching wood) no impact damaged rims to date. Riding with higher pressures on the loose stuff is just a joke when it comes to grip...
Finally, some sense.
I agree 100%
Realistically, it's a £4000 bike in my eyes.
Also consider that a lot of people buy through the Ride to work scheme, which makes a brand new bike 'cheaper'.
I'm sure Shimano will warranty a Bosch motor. Wear and tear and warranty items don't belong with market compliance. It seems ominous to me that they would be grouped together.
My GLP has a factory warranty because it's an ex-works bike, if you must know, so I am the first owner outside of...
Confirming to local regulations isn't a warranty issue, it's a product compatability for a given market issue, and as such has no place in the warranty section.
Firstly, it's a Bosch motor in the Wild.
Secondly, the very fact that they have included electrical components as wear and tear when they're clearly not, which could mean that any electrical part of it can be excluded from the warranty if they want it to, means that I won't be buying one.
I'm...
I'm not struggling to comprehend anything, thanks very much.
Like I clearly said, I get that the wear and tear aspect of normal wear and tear items isn't warrantied, but the fact that the battery and electrical system components are included as such, when they should very definitely last beyond...
Crikey! I've just read the warranty terms on Orbea's website:-
This warranty does not cover the normal wear and tear of the perishable elements of the product in any case. Said elements may include, but are not limited to, the following elements subject to wear and tear:
Handlebar tape...
I've just paid £4k for a slightly used GLP-2 with full warranty and they're a far, far better bike than your Orbea I'm afraid. I was looking for something light-ish weight, with a Bosch motor. It's actually for my lad. Something like yours would have done the job, but not for that much money...
I went from Code R to MT7 and I estimated that the MT7s were about twice as powerful, and it seems their test results confirm my feelings.
I think the root of the problem is too much flex in the Code R caliper. When pushed, mine used to really 'honk', rather than the usual brake 'squeal', and...
That's strange because I have beaten pretty much all of my own PBs going up (and down) the hills that I previously set on my Giant/Yamaha.
I don't think there's as much difference between them as claimed, because from 80 to 90 should at least be noticable.
I did always think though that the...
