Well people have reporter that the motor is quieter. Maybe the new gear is even more? But yes ofcourse early buyers are beta testers since Bafang has not officially launched the new 750w yet. Apparently they are going to release it at Eurobike. Heard this for few sources.
I'm having hard time understanding what all that means... are you able to explain it a little bit?
Bafang is going to use same hardware for both motors = they try to save costs and make things easier this way for them? This means both motors will have metal gear I assume?
I wonder what "some...
New update coming to the motor. Bafang has changed the gear inside the motor.
I got this information from Greenbikekit. They got it from Bafang in a bike fair. Propaply at China Cycle this week.
They are currently sold out (750w version) but they will receive new shipment of motors early...
Well said. It just doesn't make sense to me that everything would work well for me when so many people are complaining and warning against it. If it would work I think the site would be the holy grail for all people who ride bikes and everyone would be extremely happy with them. Even if they had...
I don't think I will risk my money with them. There are so many bad stories everywhere about that place. Yes you might get your parts but seems like that alot of the time that does not happen. People get sent used parts or different items than they ordered and getting refund is hazardous at...
Oof.. that's scary. I will wait to order before we get more info.. 800w is so little. I think the max output is close to 1200w? So I wonder how big of a problem will happen with that. You should test it.
Also, where did you order the motor from?
Edit: though that is ideal situation for...
Ok, so I definitely need to get carbon paste for my dropper seatpost and for others to make sure if Peaty's assembly grease is compatible with carbon.
I'm thinking getting this. Seems decent with option to use shims etc. 2.76£ 6% OFF|1x Mtb Chain Guide - Iscg 03/05 Bb Post Mount, Wide Narrow...
Great to hear! I'm planning on ordering LCE971 and m560 750w after China Cycle next week. Just waiting and making sure they don't release something I might want 😁
Got my wheels already. Sadly mine has been damaged in shipping :/ I think it's only cosmetic scratches though. Mainly on spokes...
If you have m560 and dcp245 v. 3.0 you can tune the modes etc.
The overrun is something people debate and some people like it and some don't. You can stop it by pedaling backwards a little bit. It stops the overrun instantly. The overrun has it's benefits in certain cases.
Same reason any manufacturer makes choices that doesn't benefit the consumer. Money. Planned obsolescence. There could be something in the controller or in the battery BMS. Many brands have used these tactics since the start of their products.
Why are you not satisfied with your M560? How does the tune differ? Are you able to tune youe m560 with the bafang go+ app? DCP245 ver. 3.0 works with the app at least. Not sure about other displays.
Are you sure that the battery is supposed to work with that motor? Maybe they are not compatible with each other.
Bafang (and DengFu, LightCarbon and others) are going to be in the China Cycle 2024 next week. Maybe we will see some new stuff!
Eager to see what new if any will be revealed.
Personally hoping for the official release of the Bafang M560 750w.
Locations:
LightCarbon: Hall E4, 0447.

DengFu:
If someone knows the location of Bafang or DengFu booth let me know and I'll add them.
Ah good point about the possibility of the spiders varied thickness and the shoftness of aluminium.
Yeah I can shorten the bolts myself. Good idea. After all I first thought about welding my own bike frame but it's totally not worth the hazzle 😅
Good reminder about Loctite. I got Peaty's...
