bafang replied with this to attached picture, "this motor is still in internal testing and optimization, this is the number of the internal prototype, it has no real meaning.". FYI Not directly to me as I have no connections to bafang.

Anyone found any info on this new firmware? I just got an email from fltebike.com saying that the motor is currently being discontinued. :o 2nd email said "still in testing, unable to order".

Yeah I agree. I'm not worried about weight so much. Generally more weight = more durability.

@sandnap have you been able ride more? If so how have the wheels, brakes and dropper post worked? Especially how does the brakes feel? Hows the lever feel? Do they grip to brakes fast (kinda like shimano levers) or do they have longer "slack" before they engage the brakes (like sram brakes)...
