That is not a good advert for the joys of MTB.
I much prefer this one:
Haha! Someone (the Sherriff?) switched pictures from "Santa Cruz chick"!
Much better than banning the post though! :ROFLMAO:
On my breakfast plate would be about half a kilo of fruit, fibre and milk.
Comprising: high fibre cereal flakes, a wide variety of dried fruit, with added pumpkin seeds and almonds, all with semi-skimmed milk. Hmmm.
My wife refers it to my morning cat litter! :ROFLMAO:
That jump in the post above is now disabled and unusable. I have no idea who did that. I doubt it is Forestry England as it is not one of the serviced trails and they don't have the budget for expenditure outside their remit.
After two weeks of fairly relentless rain, I went to Pines today. I...
@Nasir Ref the post from @The Hodge look in" Rideouts" for Sherwood Pines.
Always fun, and only one person injured in many years (I did say "don't do it, I'm not!") He recovered. :)
I checked mine after 45 mins, another 30 mins, then another 40 mins. after the first two it was slightly warm. After the last one it had gone cold again. The charge light was still on, so I assume that it had finished charging and was balancing the cells. I never heard a sound from the charger...
Well, it's got proper castles, magnificent cathedrals, 2000-year old Roman buildings and walls, ancient bridleways, and some pretty towns, but it is flat!
It grows a lot of potatoes. In the olden days, the standard treatment for potato blight was to spray with arsenic. When old fields are built...
Sockets of the size required with a flat end are £5 more than the standard ones. So I bought a standard socket, borrowed an angle grinder from a friend and carefully ground off the angled bit. Two mins later, it was done! I then used my flat whetstone and moved the socket over it in a circular...
I still haven't checked mine, but I leave the charger on a bare concrete floor and ensure it as far away from anything that might burn as the cables will allow.
If it did catch fire, from what I've seen on videos, it's probably not enough!
Problem is that I charge my bike in the early morning...
Slime tubes are very heavy (see note below). Annnnd... they only seal holes up to 3mm!
But the sealant never goes off! :)
Note: It is more than 25 years since I've bought Slime tubes. But a 26" x 2.125" Slime tube weighed 315gm vs a regular tube at 160gm. This was due to the thicker...
I love that! I wish it was like that in the UK. I have never had to buy a replacement Shimano motor, but I have read that it can be expensive and time consuming over here. My personal experience of Shimano motors has been excellent. No problems and I love the power delivery as it always feels...
Hi @Nasir welcome to the Forum :)
I see your location as Nottingham; by "Forest Pines", do you mean "Sherwood Pines"?
Apart from the Sherwood Pines club that I believe are solely muscle bikes, I am unaware of any organised groups that ride there.
I ride there regularly though and I'd be happy...
