Indeed that's another option, especially if they works with the existing hoses. I can get SLX, but they are XT priced, and frankly it just irks me. Those 520s aren't too bad though.
Thanks
Can't imagine the hope pads will fit the MT410, if that's what you're saying. But getting some sintered pads and a 200mm rotor would no doubt help somewhat (immediately bin the resins :)). I just know I'll turf them soon anyway - I'm particular on brakes. Sadly the XTs are in shortage...
I can't find any detail on the Orbea site, and some posts here allude to Centrelock on the H30. Can I just confirm please is it Centrelock hubs and rotors on the H30 as standard? Is that what everyone got? I've got one ordered and plan to change the brakes and tires when I get the bike home from...
Yeah waiting is not really a palatable option sadly as I've ended up in between bikes (long story) and been saving my butt off to get one :) waiting longer than I have to isn't going to happen lol...
Yeah I agree I can live with SLX happily too, and XT is all I'd buy if I was getting it myself...
I dunno man, this'll be my fourth ebike and I've upgraded all of them (plus countless analogs), and I know for a fact a Fox 34 is going to be detrimental to how much I enjoy the ride. I suppose because I'm 95+kg those stiffer stanchions matter. Nice groupsets shift better, nicer brakes work...
Your use case is very different sounds like the SL would be perfect.
Yeah right I was a bit confused about that, weird huh. I'm not any are available around here right now except for low specs though.
The Jam2 with the Bosch still has the inverted vertical shock and even on the highest spec...
What I did before getting my last eMtb was order a volspeed dongle. :)
I only buy bikes I know I can de-restrict. It's a requirement. If a manufacturer makes it de-restrict proof, I won't buy their bike.
I don't have a restricted bike and any time I have it's been very brief :)
Yes I did read the whole post.
I'm not trying to start s#$#@. (though with this response of yours, pot and kettle?)
Not a road cyclist, can't stand it (boring), I don't wear Lycra hot pants. Ride dirt only, in baggies. Hopefully my choice of garments is ok with you.
Hating all road cyclists...
I dunno what to tell you man. I've bought bikes running 25km/h and been annoyed with the cut off, set it to 32km/h and been happy. Multiple times. Maybe it just suits my appetite for velocity on my local trails? I still hit the cut off but I'm not really needing to accelerate a whole lot at that...
Fact remains if it was 32km/h, I wouldn't derestrict. I really think a lot of people will derestrict to much higher than 32 because they're having to bother desrestricting. The people who are abusing it, aren't stopped by the limiter.
If the manufacturer left the door open so I could switch to...
Wouldn't really be a fictional competition. It'd be an actual competition. :)
Well some of us like to ride purpose built singletrack as fast as we can, in competition with ourselves and friends, and being able to power to 32km/h instead of 25km/h is preferable to me for this purpose.
You...
Honestly, this doesn't make sense you're just arcing up because you're offended. You really could put some more effort in before you hit send.
But let's play:
I wasn't saying I don't want to put ANY effort in. I was saying I don't want to pedal a heavy full fat ebike over the limiter (and...
That's all great. My reply wasn't even to you, I dunno maybe you missed that.
My heart rate averages around 160 out of 185 over a 2 hour ride. I don't mind earning it either. The effort a person puts in has nothing to with speed cut off or even assistance level, of course.
No that's the point we're talking about jumps not in a big descent and straight after rocky/rooty corners. Some pedalling is required. I've been riding these trails and jumps since long before ebikes.
It's certainly not even vaguely like A line at Whistler lol :)
But I'm only talking about one...
