A little worrying the day before I collect my long awaited new steed. Only way to find out is ask.
If the bike has been used as you suggest, it should be backed up by the condition of other parts of the bike
Had a couple of rides and so far impressed. They are a little larger than those I 'm used to so still getting used to that aspect but they are comfy and the transition is not too noticeable.
In preparation for the arrival of my M20, I going to get a 203mm centrelock rotor for the front as a low cost easy upgrade.Any specific suggestions that will make a real difference or should I just go with the standard which I think is a Galfer
These sound like just want I need so will give them a try. I generally use site safety glasses rater than anything cycling branded as great vfm. Cheers. Found these links easily enough. Some have a pouch option...
Finally got the call that my M20 is ready for shipping so should be with me in a couple of weeks.
Got my Invisitrame, range extender, pedals, GA2 grips and spare set of wheels ready for winter rubber. Just need to get 203mm discs and decide between the neat but brittle Rockguardz, the Rockstop...
You want to be working in the construction industry right now! Nightmare with materials, logistics and labour shortages on top. I'm in procurement and work for one of the largest companies so we use our scale to get most of what we need but feel for the smaller guys.
I spoke to a local bike...
Good options. Both brands were on my shortlist and went for the Cube 140TM. Might be more a case of what is available or available locally.Depends on what you really mean by any terrain but I'd add the Canyon Spectral On, Focus Jam2 and the Whyte to your list. The Treks are also highly thought...
I've been looking and was going to go with these until I got a 2nd hand set at a good price.

They do carbon as well if you really want carbon or there are these but p&p adds a lump
Hi and welcome. Also from Surrey (Holmwood) with a Cube TM140 which to be fair has been faultless apart from the headset bearings.
You probably need to join a couple of local FB groups (Surrey Hills MTB - not keen on emtb more just for info, plus Surrey Hills Fun eMTB. Small group run by Dave...
I've got an M2O Rise on its way and managed to get a duplicate set of Race Face wheels at a decent price. As I ride in variable conditions, one set will have wet or winter tyres and 1 set with the original tyres to start with for more xc.
I'm planning on upgrading both front discs to 203mm, so...
Loads of reviews on Youtube especially the motorhomers and vanlifers (like me) but we aware, many got them on launch foc so may not be 100% impartial. Lots of alternatives to consider and if you just wanted basic functionality you could but together your own system cheaper.
These guys know their...
My experience is if they look good they wont work (certainly in the case of the rear) so I have Mudhugger on the rear of my Cube and RRP Bolt on standard at the front (that doesn't look too bad arguably). This was taken half way round a fairly muddy ride last winter
I currently use an ATERA Strada DL for my Cube and expect it to work just as well when the Rise arrives .Not cheap but a great bit of kit and if you have a hatchback it hinges forward to give access. You'll just need to check capacity although as they can carry 4 std bikes should be ok...
