    Focus Jam2 6.7 Nine

If you have the luxury of being able to wait a while I'd say order the Focus and hopefully you'll get one before summer proper. It's a great bike for the money. You'll really appreciate the FS and extra travel on the front. There's not much else around at that price.

    A what to buy post

Unless you're prepared to wait what might turn out to be a very long time just buy anything decent you can find in stock. Bosch Gen 4 is a good option but don't rule out others. I was looking for a bike in October last year and was being quoted anything from Jan 21 through to Aug / Sept 21...

    Focus Jam2 6.7 Nine

Quite a dilemma there. I have a 2020 Jam2 6.7 that I bought at the end of October last year. It may well have been the last one in the UK. It's a Gen 4 Bosch with the 625 powertube battery and it's absolutely brilliant. I had a number of bikes on my 'shortlist' and was really looking for a...

Battery Lock Keys. Yes or No?

The lock just adds complexity that I could do without. I want to be able to remove the battery but an allen key and a simpler mechanism would be fine. On my old Cube you have to be really careful to make sure the battery is properly locked in or it will come out mid ride. It's happened to me...

    Reasonable Chain Wear?

Oh dear. My bike has now done about 3000 miles on the original chain, chainring and cassette and still works fine. I was thinking of changing the chain but reading this I think I'll just leave well alone for a while longer then just replace the lot in one go.

Is it possible to buy a sub £5k FS EMTB in the UK at the moment.

I've managed to buy something in the end. Quite a few calls to some of the bigger dealers offering delivery options turned up a few options but also revealed that often when something appeared on a website it wasn't actually available at the moment and might be many months away. I finally...

Is it possible to buy a sub £5k FS EMTB in the UK at the moment.

With lockdown on us again this week travelling any distance is out of the question.

Is it possible to buy a sub £5k FS EMTB in the UK at the moment.

Pretty much confirms my suspicion that there's nothing to be had.

Powerfly FS 7 or Rail 7

Both now have 4th Gen CX so the motors are identical as are the batteries. But they do clearly have very different geometries and suspension setups.

Is it possible to buy a sub £5k FS EMTB in the UK at the moment.

There seem to be very few used bikes on the market - certainly around here. I've found a couple that looked good but they are always seem to be the wrong size (too large).

Is it possible to buy a sub £5k FS EMTB in the UK at the moment.

My nearest Cube dealer has said they're not expecting any until January at the earliest and because they don't know what they might get can't take orders.

Powerfly FS 7 or Rail 7

Thanks. Sadly it's far too far from me (in Dorset) to visit.

Is it possible to buy a sub £5k FS EMTB in the UK at the moment.

I stupidly thought that if I waited til late 2020 I would be able to order one of the various 2021 models that have been announced and get a delivery sometime in the not too distant future. Well I've tried all the bike shops local and even not so local and none seem to have any stock and I'm...

Powerfly FS 7 or Rail 7

I've been trying to buy a FS EMTB for the last month or so. First choice was a Haibike ALL MTN 4 but then I was quoted August 2021 for delivery. After that came a Cube Stereo 140 but I'm told the earliest I could expect delivery is January and but even that seemed uncertain. It now seems that...

    Cube ownership

I have an older Reaction Hybrid Pro (now nearing 3 years and a few thousand miles) and it's been faultlessly reliable. In fact the only real problem I've had was the left crank arm coming off but that was my fault for not checking the bolts regularly. In general I think how well warranty...

    Going Tubeless

I've struggled to seat tubeless tyres just using a track pump. So I bought a Schwalbe Booster (basically the same as the Airshot but a bit cheaper). Has always worked first time for me and well worth what it cost. Take the valve cores out and get the tyre seated on the rim then add the...

Which Cube Stereo Hybrid is right for me?

Interesting discussion. I have a Cube Reaction Pro hardtail and am in the market for a full suspension bike. My hardtail has 29" wheels and I was leaning towards getting a bike with 27.5" wheels but if I go for another Cube that means the 160. Otherwise I had been thinking of the 140 SL. I...

    Hello everyone

I am looking forward to getting one but am in the lucky position that I can wait until the 2021 bikes come along. In theory there's so much choice but in practice I'm guessing it will still come down to availability. I'll be keeping the hardtail for myself for a while too. Coincidentally I've...

    Hello everyone

Not new to EMTB but new to this forum. Had by current bike, a Cube Reaction Pro hardtail for about 2 and a half years and I still love it. I'm now thinking of buying a full suspension bike to join it - probably a 2021 model once they start to come into stock.
