Recommend me a Shimano E8000 mtb around £4000

The Canyon On 6 or 7 seems to tick most of the boxes here. Although I read that can be crazy leadtimes on canyon products and also the reviews say the two pot brakes are a bit under speccd. This aside though on paper it looks like the perfect machine. Any experiences of these?

I have a garage with power so don't need a removable battery.

Recommend me a Shimano E8000 mtb around £4000

Hi folks, Going round in circles trying to find my first full sus eMtb so thought I'd see if any of you knowledgeable people could recommend something specific. Criteria as follows: Budget of £4000, could go very slightly more but prefer to be under Shimano E8000 motor as I would like some...

Decisions Decisions Decisions Which Bike ???

Any love for the Vitus e-Sommett here? Great reviews, good price and Shimano motors. Spec keeps referring to how aggressive the geometry is though etc? Will this be annoying to ride on flat trails and tow paths etc? Not my only usage but would be good for commute occasionally.

Decisions Decisions Decisions Which Bike ???

Following this thread with interest as I'm trying to decide on a first emtb also. Had been looking at the Trek Rails - interesting to see they are doing discounts. Test drove a Rail 9.7 carbon yesterday and it was immense although bit out of my budget. Had been looking at the 5 but 7 could be...

    Focus Jam2 6.8 2019 or Trek Rail 5 2020?

Need to get it on the bike to work scheme for the tax saving unfortunately so don’t think I’ll be able to use a German retailer.

    Focus Jam2 6.8 2019 or Trek Rail 5 2020?

Good feedback, thanks. I test rode a trek rail 9.8 carbon 2020 yesterday and it was amazing. On the road and smooth paths it hit the limiter so soon though and it was challenging to keep the speed just within the assistance band. It was easier than I expected to pedal though when you pass...

    Focus Jam2 6.8 2019 or Trek Rail 5 2020?

Good info thanks Iain. How is the 2020 when you pedal through the 15.5 limit on to higher speeds without assistance? There is a good 20 mile flat ish gravel type route near me that I do regularly and 15.5 may seem a bit pedestrian there, I can almost average that on my old hardtail non e bike.

    Focus Jam2 6.8 2019 or Trek Rail 5 2020?

New to the e-MTB scene but been doing hours of reading and research last couple of weeks as we have cycle to work scheme launching next week. I see lots of praise for the 6.8, the relative lightness and special offers on 2019 model make it attractive (although there seems to be a shortage of...

Rutland knocking out tec packs half price.. This weekend only

As of yesterday - sold out. Really annoying as was going to buy the 6.8 2019 and a TEC pack on cycle to work scheme but they aren't getting any more packs in stock. The only ones available at other places seem to be north of £400 and obviously I can't use bike to work voucher either so double...
