Any mudguard recommendations for a full sus ebike or mudguards to avoid?
Ordered my first eMTB which has 29x2.6 wheels so looking to purchase some before the bike arrives.
Ordered a Shimano E8000 based bike which should arrive in the next couple of weeks.
Anyone have a PCE1/2 interface I could do some gentle programming with before deciding if I need to invest in one?
Have you tuned the bike to remove the limiter or are you pedalling manually to hit 28mph?
If tuned, would you mind sharing what solution you used as there is a lot of info out there implying these 2020 Bosch models aren't tunable due to anti tuning software.
MB CLS so def heavy enough. I'm thinking the height of the bumper is probably part of the reason they didn't type approve as would probably need an unsightly cut out. That said just done a google image search and there are some in NZ with tow bars with no bumper mods.
Would this be legal then...
Hi all
I am 6ft and having filled out the Canyon sizing tool it’s recommending medium.
How have you owners found the sizing? Every other manufacturer I look at suggests large for my measurements and looking at the reach of the canyon bikes it’s pretty similar to all of the manufacturers...
My car is not type approved for towing despite being a large 300bhp car more than capable of pulling most things. So no tow bar for me, going to be fun lifting it up onto the roof. I think with battery removed many models should just about come under 20kg and Thule do an ebike specific roof holder.
Hi Folks,
Looks like my workplace (large multinational) is using Cyclescheme Ltd for the bikes for work scheme this year.
I see Canyon is partnered with Green Cycle Initiative to allow purchase of bikes for work.
Is there any way I can still get a Canyon bike through the scheme even though my...
I was in a Trek Uk store in Sheffield and they quoted mar/Apr for deliveries of any Rail apart from the 9 and above which were available now.
Interesting there is some supply.
That 2019 model looks very good indeed.
I saw the 2020 model with the 160mm shock and it just looked at bit extreme for what I needed but the 2019 looks more of an all rounder?
Excellent point. Would go for a speedy delivery and few £ extra rather than waiting months - I want to get out there on an ebike now!
However bike to work is the most important discount for me as should provide a 42% saving. No point chasing all the other savings if I then don't get the bike...
This in a nutshell is what I found after a test drive of a new trek with Bosch 2020 motor last week which was otherwise amazing. If only we were allowed 32kph or 20 mph it wouldn’t be a problem. Silly arbitrarily low figure 15.5mph. It’s why I’m now looking for a Shimano bike.
Great info on loyalty discount. So all I have to do is order £100 of stuff and get in the programme?
If so might do that now as need a few things and I won't be able to order the bike for another month or so due to bike to work scheme launch date.
Looks like a great bike. Annoying you have to go VRS or above for E8000 and it’s E7000 below. Although actually this might allow for more range having slightly less torque. VR would prob be all my budget will go to.
Which exact model did you go for?
