Yes with my bikes I used Permatex dielectric greese on all the connectors but not from when they were new. On one of our Reigns the main power connector was corroded slightly when I took it apart the first time after about 500 miles. I cleaned it with contacts cleaner and greased it but it will...
I can surely see how these bikes would be big trouble in a wet climate. We have 2 Reigns and a Trance and don’t ride them when it’s wet here because of the terrain and dirt make up. But when I wash them very carefully the Reigns(but never the Trance)will often times not turn on until I remove...
It will work with no issues. I’ve done it on our 2019 Trance. Only thing that you will notice is the valving on a MTB spec shock is considerably softer than one valved for a eMTB.
You have somehow definitely activated the ejection seat launch mode. The only way to get the light to go off is to proceed with the ejection sequence. Step one: find a strip on concrete and pedal up to 10 to 15 mph but not higher with the dropper post all the way down. Then simultaneously pull...
Really like my Reign. Best bike ever in my opinion. And yes it is slightly long in comparison to others but if you man up and turn the thing at speed it will rail. The poor guys in the video definitely did it no justice.
My personal experience is this: Rented at Trek for a day that was new, I was the first to ride it. It would cut off if you hit a rough section of the trail or medium drops. You could hit the power button and it would power back up until the next time it cut off. Also it had cable rattle like you...
Pedaling Innovations make the best I’ve tried. They are big, thin, very sticky and do all the things they claim. I have tried dozens of flat pedals and these are my favorites. These particular ones pictured are 2 years old and have never needed service.

What about one of these? They are not terribly expensive either and a decent build. Or the new Haro’s look good. I think they are available soon.
I would like to try one. My concern is not with the Yamaha quality or build spec. I wonder if the power delivery and overall power will be like the Giants? The reason I say this is the Haibikes I tried with the Yamaha motor and control system was not nearly as powerful as the Giant. I can only...
Really good review and sounds like they made the bike even better. I wonder if the Reign will have 29” wheels or maybe a mullet set up? Also Giant could angle the motor upwards like on the Haibike Dwnhll and would make a great increase in clearance but I’m sure other handling characteristics...
Just checked out a new park in Hendersonville NC called Kanuga Bike park. Short story is that it is amazing and yes they actually encourage ebike use and have rentals on the weekend, Specialized and Treks latest models. There is something for all skill levels from true downhill lines with drops...
Looks great! Would like to hear your feedback on handling, motor characteristics and battery range. I was supposed to get one of these but was told today actually that there is no eta.
On my 19 Trance e it has had a few noises all I was able to fix. First was the shock when it was new and Fox fixed it under warranty. Next the head set which I replaced with Cane Creek, see pictures. And also I had the motor creeks and greasing the mounts fixed that. You have to take the collars...
I hope that’s not true. My opinion but it’s maybe one of the best all around bikes you can buy. Smooth motor with good power, easy to maintain and can handle anything you throw at it. I plan on buying a 2021 to go with our 2020 Reign. Would be a shame to loose them in the lineup.
