Tha ks for that, with the levo being 6 way adjustable is a huge selling point for me. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on one soon. Will take the zebs and XTs off the rail and put them on the levo.
Love that bike, how is the DVO fork and shock? I have a JadeX on my rail that Jesse did for me, but im looking at doing that exact setup you have if I get a levo. Let me know if it ever pops up for sale
I have had the current trek rail for the last 2 years, (great bike) with DVO coil and Smashpot Zeb, the 23 rail has changed geo and the reviews aren't that great.
I really want a mullet. Levo seems to be the pick of all the mullets at the moment, has anybody ridden both? Is the levo playful? I...
I know the decoy has had the EP8 retrofitted but the bike is coming up 5 years old now. We all know it needs a larger battery.
I wonder if they refine the decoy, or release a super light version, or maybe a completely new shorter travel emtb.
Surely emtb must be a decent size of YTs business...
Yes it will be more linear but it's all relative. It's all trial and error, are you riding off curbs or are you hucking 60ft to flat, set you sag and go ride your trails, if you're bottoming it out, then more than likely you will have to compensate with tokens, keep in mind that the bottom out...
What country do you live in where you take a class action lawsuit against someone for not building a bigger battery for your bike 🤦♂️ glad I live at the bottom of the world.
The bike rides amazing, but it is 3+ years old now. Normally bikes will get revisions around this sort of shelf life.
A 620w battery now seems low in the ebike market.
A simple piggy back system could have worked when they released the EP8.
The decoy is already a dated platform. I don't think we see a 700w on this model now unfortunately.
Appreciate YT is a small company but they have been left behind by pretty much everyone now.
Looking forward to a newer longer range decoy 🤞
Just the zeb select that comes on the 21 rail 9. It's a beast of a fork, feels like a monster truck and probably part of the reason I've started over riding the bike.
Front end is too light, much harder to get the front end to really bite when pushing for those strava times. It did feel OK down our pro jump line, but that just flows. Sag in the rear shock is perfect, I could have tried the flip chip but I think the geo is perfect at 160mm. I did run it as a...
I just installed a smashpot on my rail 9 with the dvo jade X, I tried the fork at 170mm and it was horrible, completely ruins the bike. I was trying to make the bike something its not. I'm going back to 160 where the bike felt great.
I need to get a decoy shred or the new reign as a shred bike...
