I would love to hear how it compares to the levo, everyone keeps knocking this bike as not capable and a trail bike but on paper it seems to be a levo clone, which I own and it absolutely rips.
I don't know what the obsession is with range, if you can't get enough cycling in with an 800w battery then maybe go back to an analog rig, or ride harder in turbo. I don't think ebikes are a good fit for people who like to grind out a whole day in eco.
I've heard this is the 10th version of this motor, so they've refined it a lot. They also have 14,000 employees so they have a massive pool of knowledge to pull from.
Crazy world we live in, DJi, TikTok and Huawei and some of my favorite products. Lucky I live in New Zealand.
I wonder if they will sell the motor, battery and looming separately, once my 7th brose motor fails I'd like to say you know what, I'm gonna retrofit this beast into my specialized
Having the bike lock and needing a pin code to use it is a great security feature, throw in an alert on the bike and your phone if the bike is moved and built in GPS tracking, I think everyone would want those features these days. It also has a feature to stop you rolling backwards on a hill and...
Would be epic if they incorporated a follow me with a DJi drone that actually works.
New Zealand isn't listed as a country they're available in but I could quite easily pull the trigger on one of these. Very close the the Gen 3 levo I'm on
Just watched all the amflow reviews, I would be very worried if I was any other bike manafacturer, I'm sure the new levo will ride better than any other but the power, weight and features of the new avinox from DJi is just lightyears a head of the game.
My bike is brand new and it has done it 3 times, I was going for PBs on strava so didn't stop to see what the problem was, just changed up a few gears in a hurry to get going again. The motor would cut out and go in to limb mode.
I need to do some more testing and come to a complete stop next...
