Did you feed both wires on the left side of the mount? As on my mount there is only one channel for the two wires to exit under the mount at the top left side, if you have one or both wires not in this channel then it won't mount flush to the top tube. It's kinda silly design, they should have...

Yes I have a Rail 7, the kneck mount is ok but I much prefer the top tube mount using the knock block screw

You may want to look at a different location for your kiosk. If you knock it off again while the screw is attached to the mount it may break the plastic tab at the bottom of the kiosk, which helps secure the kiosk or worse and break the back of the unit at screw point. I had the same problem...
