That bike sounds nice! I'm curious as to how it looks ;) The bosch system is awesome indeed, and like you i'm not afraid of the bearing problem. Quick tip, get a crank puller, a bosch spider tool and a bearing service kit. Change out the grease regularly based on use, should last a long time.
Yeah, the thing is you can tell yourself you are only gonna do it sometimes, or 25 km/h is fast enough but the truth is now you know how your, and every other ebike, should feel, riding with the limiter on is never gonna feel the same.
:)
If you want a full suspension in the future i would go for it now, you will only lose money trying to sell a secondhand bike later. For me 90% of riding is commuting or biking around town, to me that is where a hardtail really shines.
I run a second set of wheels with Schwalbe G-One Speed tires...
Very cool vid! Nice to see some testing done.
So it seems Bosch CX is the most powerfull but a bit uncivilised (maybe thats why i like it so much)
Shimano is definetely the smoothest and Panasonic a good allrounder.
Seems to comply with most of the reviews i've read.
Keep up the good work!
Mine is my do it all bike, i got a second set of wheels with smooth tires for commuting, makes a lot of difference.
EMTB's can be really comfy on the road and with the motor assist it is just so much fun.

Review: I needed a second set of wheels for my road tires, these work great.
They are aluminium, but still not too heavy at 2100 g for the set, at 29 inch.
They come...
And besides it really does not matter wether or not we think a hardtail or fully is better, this thread is about Knobby and his new bike, so again, good looking bike Knobby! Have fun with it!
It is normal for cables to stretch a little during their first few times of operation, perhaps they need a turn tighter.
And like eFat says, battery's just have decreasing capacity over time. Heavely dependant on use.
Do you always drain your battery fully until the bike shuts off, park it in...
Title maybe a little misleading since i only got my bike for a month and a half, but i'm very curious to hear about how many miles (or km's) everyone has done on their bikes.
I'll start off:
Haibike hardnine 7.0
Bosch cx
450km/280 miles
I'm just wondering how shorter cranks cause higher cadence? Because the shorter arm transfers less power so you need a lower gear? If the gear stays the same cadence should stay the same.
Hey man, good looking bike! Just a tip, since this a international forum please add a country of sale and wich currency the asking price is in. Euro or pound makes a difference :) good luck with your sale!
I found your thread, love the colors on your bike man! Really nice color scheme.
The fender is attached to the original mudguard, i took some cube fenders, sliced them in two, and attached them to the mini mudguard that came with the bike. In that way i could use the original mounting points...
I have read claims by people that emtb riders knocked other people of their bikes to get them out of the way because they were faster. Those same people simultainiously complained emtb riders have no skill. It seems people are grasping at straws to find reasons to dislike ebikes.
I'm just...
