Thanks for the sparkling insight. You must be a lot of fun to be around at parties. Nut sack.

OMG! I might be better on an anolgue MTB.

Hi All. First post for a while. I've mainly been commuting on my Merida e160e. It's fun and my average speed on the 34km round trip is around 22km/h. That means a reasonable commute time. But recently, I've started using the bike on some local, well used trails. I've had a blast doing it...

    STEPS E8000 Motor Service

Hi all. I purchased a bearing set for the E8000 from the Australian agent for Performance Line Bearings a while ago. And decided today was the day to do the bearing replacement. But I struck a snag when trying to separate the cases. My through axle has a collar on the left hand side that...

Replacing an E8000 with an EP8 Motor

Ok. I had been assuming the E8000 was no longer available.

Lightcarbon LCES004 (Dengfu E10 alternative in USA)

I'm hoping you can make this happen. I'd place an order today for a Fuzua driveline in an eMTB at an affordable price.

Replacing an E8000 with an EP8 Motor

I ride a Merida with an E8000 motor that has done around 5000kms. I can't complain about the power level or overall performance. It suits me well but the motor is getting noisy and I suspect it's bearings. I see the E8000 can be replaced with the EP8. Not trivial, but possible. How many...

    Rhain E-MTB

Are the Bafang motors serviceable to replace bearings and seals?

    Rhain E-MTB

Looks good! I hope you sell all you can make. I would need an XL though. I'll keep an eye on your website.

    Rhain E-MTB

I was hopeful that a small Australian company was going to bring a good product to market for a reasonable price. I probably would have bought one. But after a great start to to this thread, the subject just seemed to fall off a cliff.

It's a shame this project didn't kick on.

Trek E-Caliber - availability in Australia?

OMFG! Trek must have factored in two replacement frames during the warranty period. I might have to wait until another manufacturer copies it.

Trek E-Caliber - availability in Australia?

A sales lady at the Trek shop (in Woolloongabba, Brisbane) told me they would find out in July/August this year if they would be receiving the bike next year. It doesn't sound very likely to me. And my guess is prices would start at $12000.

Thanks Flash :) I really like what Fazua have done in separating the bottom bracket from the drive. Genius.

    I'd like to know too.

    Fazua Trial

I don't think the E-Caliber is available in Australia. It does look like a cool idea though.

    Fazua Trial

Scratch that idea. The Trek shop didn't have a Domane LT+ . And none in Australia in my size apparently. Damn.

    Fazua Trial

Hi All. I really like the idea of the Fazua driveline. In Australia, it seems the only eMTB option is the eZesty. It's dear as poison and almost as rare as rocking horse poo. I won't be able to try it before buying. But my local-ish Trek store is very likely to have a Fazua powered Domane...

Is the Lightweight low powered market about to kick off ?

I currently ride a 2018 Merida e160 900e and really enjoy it. It's got around 4800km on it now. I bought it to get back into riding (57 years old) and to get over the dread of the two killer hills near home on the 3 times per week commute to work (34km round trip). I used to dread these two...
