Does the mech take up chain slack after it’s setup? Now on 11th gear the chain is just hanging loose.

So I just fitted a Di2 rear mech. Brings up W032, do I now need the cables and the pc software to enable the electric shifting? The bike is Focus Jam2 2017.

Decided to get the dbcoil inline. Now I don’t know what the eyelet size should be, there’s open eye 15mm too but I don’t think that’s what I need. The size is 210/55 with 25x8mm hardware right?

Can you still fit a tec pack if you have a coil shock with a piggyback?

Shimano has replied the play is within spec (max 2mm) and is normal.

Where am I supposed to put the cable on Sam2 when the external battery is depleted? There’s no such hole/recess as the Jam2 has. Backpack?

I took the chain off today and if I put my pedals in 12 and 6 o-clock positions and grab the one in 12-o-clock and gently push and pull by the pedal by two fingers there’s an audible clunk and major play. If I get a new engine might swap my focus for a decoy when it’s available ;D

Some very minor angular play that is hard to tell and the bike slightly creaks/clicks when pedaling hard. Checked all suspension bearings and serviced my pedals and it still does the clicking time to time. I was pushing the non-drive side crank against the frame. Ah well guess I’ll be in touch...
