A bit far for me as I rely on bikes as my go to for transport. I could ask a family member to take me, but they wouldn’t be able to ride, so that might test their patience.
My E-bike didn’t come with one, and I have no idea what to get. I was thinking something foolproof and value for money.
There’s this one on offer from CRC:
Brand-X Ascend XL Dropper Seatpost | Chain Reaction Cycles
Is this any good?
When I started riding as a kid, I wasn’t aware of Presta, just Schrader. I use Presta because that’s what my 2016 bike came with. Never really gave it much thought, as they are priced the same.
I too am selling all my analogue bikes (got 3 to sell, two fat bikes and a hardtail commuter), and all the riding I want to do will be solely with my E-bike.
Have become a bit of an E-bike snob: to be honest, I think everyone should have them, and seeing people enthusiastic over analogue bikes...
If you want to go a lot faster and convert any bike to an E-bike, then paradox kinetics do a throttle motor, called the Hermes. It’s 1500W. They’re based in Greece, and I got a quote off them for the entire conversion kit for £2350. I would urge you not to break any laws in your country, but if...
Riding report:

Ok, thanks.
Next question:
I was watching this video:
And one of the guys from Haibike mentioned the battery had about 700 cycles in it.
I was personally told 200 cycles. What I did notice, is the fact their battery doesn’t have a blue accent on it. Were they selling better, more reliable...
What I really hate, is when someone goes on about how having a normal, super light XC bike and being really fit is the way to go uphill.
The fact is I can go up higher inclines than even what people like that are capable of.
Telling people it’s cheating is like them expecting to reach the...
I was wondering what psi I should run on my shock, relative to my weight?
It’s my first full suspension bike.
Currently riding a Haibike Sduro Full Fat Six.
I am at the moment, a portly 88kg.
