I'm not one to brag (normally) but I've been in the bike vault 3 times with 2 different bikes. 2 super nice and 1 nice. Happy rob. Will be sending in a pic of the new ezesty when I get it.
Didn't realise how inexpensive chains are. Just ordered one. Better safe than sorry. I'm amazed how much they can stretch in a small space of time. Plus I'm always conscious of not grinding and keeping the pressure off the chain. You live and learn I suppose.
Hi all. Your thoughts on the following would be appreciated. After watching embn with doddy yesterday I went out and checked my chain for stretch. Its .5. Not great but not as bad as .75? He said that you should replace it at .5 on an 11 speed but .75 on a 10? Mines an 11. Should I do it now or...
As we all know, range can depend upon lots of different variables. This bike, if all the specs are to be believed will be 10kg lighter than my current e genius. Plus in the last 12 months I'm about 10 kg lighter and fitter than I've been in years. All down to emtb. I don't want more power like...
Love it. Wasnt exactly attacked but turned the corner up on a local trail once and came face to um face with a goat. Massive he was. Knew it was a he by the massive ........ horns/antler things on his head. Thankfully he ran away.
Cant disagree with anything everyone has said above. All I can add is maybe to really consider the weight of some of the bikes. eg my e genius 710 is 27 kg. Not really a problem whilst riding but is when manhandling at slower speeds. Also consider what happens after the speed limiter kicks in...
First Time out on my 150mm cranks, tubeless tyres and saint front brake. Amazing. The shorter cranks make such a difference. Tube less is great, always thought it was a bit of a gimmick but I was completely wrong. Upgrading to a saint from an xt front brake makes a huge difference Also. Xt was...
I've broken the chain twice in the last 12 months and now always carry a multi tool with chain breaker and a couple of quick links. Bad technique and the extra power I'm guessing. Hope this helps.
