STUNTMAN Chest Mount with J Hook for GoPro and Other Action Cameras
I used SRAM butter cuz that's what I had a tub of...don't know which one is better, though.
I packed a pretty moderate amount of grease all up in there.
Yeah, seems like it took RockShox about 5 years to figure this one out. I remember all the people saying "Oh, the transfer port is plugged with grease...that's what causes it". You took your fork apart, and that's what fixed it temporarily, you let the excess negative pressure escape.
You're...
I just got done doing my Lyric. It works, the fork rides about 10mm higher in the travel than it used to, using 10psi less pressure in the spring.
It even feels better, but that's probably due to all the fresh grease on the seals and the bushings.
Yeah, they all develop a little slop with use.
I actually think this is a benefit. Since the saddle can move sideways a bit with each pedal stroke, where it would normally rub you if it was "fixed", I think it makes for a more comfortable ride on those big pedally days.
I just love my Troy Lee Stage helmet.
Bonus of FF if you GoPro...chin mount blows away Chesty mount.
No more constrictive chest mount harness, plus, camera follows where you are looking. Also, the human head is nature's gimbal.
