Did u guys have any issues installing new motor? I've read that you have to buy from frame manfucaturer because there set up differently depending on angle the motor is installed or something like that?

My bad they don't do it for shimano, just went to order. just Bosch and Yamaha and you to have brought the bike from them to be able to get it so I wouldn't have qualified anyway
I can see why people keep asking when no one wants give a straight answer. Shop can do it for me without voiding warranty but is more expensive but think I'll do that so I can deristrict without losing warranty :)
Sensible to do some research before hand, especially when the creator of the app doesn't care about the warranty.
So far I've only seen one person modify using app and had to return to service centre and work was refused because motor had been modified.

Then why say may void warranty and not say it obviously voids warranty? In the manual?
Why couldn't creator of the app answer this question if it's so obvious?
Could be main pivot axle or cable rubbing perhaps? try pulling on the cable at front where they go into frame make sure there's not any slack inside the frame.

Doesn't seem to bad I took the plastic cover off and cleaned it and poked my finger into the down tube, the cables and everything felt dry. I sprayed with electrical spray and used pipe cleaners to get to the bits I couldn't reach.
It looks as though the oil ran down seat tube out of the cable...
Good shout I'll assess in the morning and go from there. I've also got some of that muc off electrical anti corrosion spray, reckon I could use that instead of iso?
