Thanks for your comments. I’ve religiously used RideWrap and Invisiframe on past bikes but don’t really see the point on my future silver Voima. Just wanted to be sure I wasn’t overlooking something.
Was particularly curious if impacts look worse than one would expect or if abrasion through...
I’m curious about your experiences with respect to frame protection and damage due to rock strikes (that would chip a typical painted frame) and scratches. I opted not to include the frame protection and am now curious if I can run the frame “naked” or if I should plan on adding a paint...
My order date was March 21. I went with the cheaper freight option (EMS I think). They sent an email with tracking numbers for the various shipments.
Hope you get confirmation of shipment soon!
Asking to get a chain under warranty, especially at 270 miles is unreasonable. Wear parts should not be expected to be covered under warranty. Put a quick link in it and keep using it if you’re so inclined.
This is a joke right? Leave the dropper down all you want. Too many examples to list but here’s one, why do all droppers ship in the compressed position (new bikes and as standalone components) yet none of us receive dysfunctional droppers? Oh yeah because it’s a non issue.
Just ordered the Voima ID, size K2. Has the ID started shipping to customers yet? If so, any idea what production time has been on these? Website says April and when I inquired I was told I’d be notified once in production but nothing more. This is going to be a tough wait.
Agreed. My biggest fear with buying a Pole is that I know any frame related warranty issue would be a pain to deal with. The way the company has handled issues has been less than stellar from what I’ve seen.
Yes, it runs sequentially, first using the range extender and then the internal battery. The display initially reads the percentage on a combined basis (extender plus internal battery), then once the extender is depleted the display goes back to showing percentage on an internal battery basis.
DHX2 started leaking oil and needed additional work beyond typical service when I sent it in. Issues began at ~500 miles. Not sure it fault lies with the X2 or flexy rear end on my Orbea Rise + clevis mount.
Similar to you, I had my EP8 motor replaced under warranty by a shop that I did not purchase the bike from and they charged $200 to swap the motors. Feel good about the $100, relative to what I paid.
Appreciate your raising this issue. I will not buy any additional e thirteen components and will avoid bikes that come with them, having had nothing but bad experiences (wheelset, dropper post, and most recently cranks that destroyed my ep8 motor spindle).
Their engineering is trash and it shows.
