I suggest you avoid pedal stikes and do not wash any Ebike, just wipe off the excess. Those things might create problems.

Where i ride i enjoy a high bike/Ebike. This is looking for troubles lower most Emountain bikes. Maybe you can switch to a longuer fork to compensate but switching Ebike is worth considering.

Bikes should not be washed and Ebikes should never be washed. Do not buy a clean Ebike. Select a brand you trust and with a good retailer close to you. Buy off season to get a decent price. Go for a HT if you are on a budget.
