Focus jam 2 and st unlocker

Cheers for that, mine is a derby cycles (Focus) Battery so that's why it won't read it. I'm led to believe that no dealers have the software to read s focus battery

Focus jam 2 and st unlocker

-5.0 is for the speed accuracy reading, makes it more like my GPS Garmin Speedo reading as my bike was always reading about 1mph faster that the Garmin. 40% on eco is putting eco in medium setting so will give a little extra range, just have to pedal a little harder

Focus jam 2 and st unlocker

Anyone used the basic st unlocker to show the battery state and charge cycles on their Focus ebikes? I just have to try and see the state of the internal battery and it's showing up like this As you can see it's showing battery health at 100% and 0 cycles which is obviously wrong. I've had the...

Here is the inside of the focus jam2 battery , may be of interest to some people. Some corrosion starting in the last picture.

Has anyone ever found out the price of a new internal battery and where you can buy one from ?

    Tec pack fault

Dealer been back in touch and focus are sending out a new tec pack battery for me, should be with by the end of next week. While this has been going off I've been in touch with Evans about the warranty claim they put in about my bikes internal battery seeming to have dropped off quite a bit...

    Tec pack fault

Well it looks like no one can read a Focus tec pack battery. Took bike in to a guy I know in a shop to put bike on the shimano diagnostic and all comes back ok for the bike (but doesn't show it's internal battery life). Do same for bike but running on the tec pack and the computer doesn't see...

    Tec pack fault

Your right they will loses performance, it's just a how much is too much and how much is acceptable. Getting bike checked over on Thursday and they are going to test both batteries and see what comes up. They said they will see if there are any battery updates too.

    Range Issues (in winter)

I'm also thinking of getting my battery tested to see if it's holding a full charge as just lately I've only been getting a couple of miles on eco out of the first bar on the internal battery and this is on tarmac riding to my local trails, it used to be around 5 or 6 miles on the same route.

    Tec pack fault

Battery has done it again, charged it yesterday, went in to check a while later, charger switched to solid light, remove charger, press battery button and just the 80 % light shows again, put on bike and bike display shows full bars. Get bike out this morning for my ride, press battery button...

Focus Warranty claims: Jam2, 6months old

Yeah tried that, flattening the battery so it stops, then pressing button for a second then charging, not made any difference :(

Focus Warranty claims: Jam2, 6months old

My problem is different, my bikes internal battery is dropping it's first couple of bars a lot faster now than it used to, one of my local routes I could get 5 or 6 miles on first bar but now it's just about 2 miles.

Focus Warranty claims: Jam2, 6months old

What problems did you have with your battery ? mine has started to lose range quite a bit now after 3000 miles in nearly two years, still under warranty. Did you go back to the shop you bought it from or did you contact Focus ? Cheers

    Tec pack fault

Checked on the battery earlier on today and it now seems to have charged up correctly this time. Will have to keep my eye on it and see what happens next time.

    Tec pack fault

Well we did a 31 miler this morning and the battery behaved it's self and shown up all full bars on its own lights. Ran it flat so it switched it's self off, gave it's button a quick press to supposedly put it in to learn mode and put it on change when I got home. Will see what happens this time...

    Tec pack fault

Going to try that with tomorrows ride, use tec battery first until it switches off then press it's on off button for a second straight away, I believe this should put it in learn mode for when I finally get home so I can then pop it on charge. I bought the tec pack separately from Leisure lake...

    Tec pack fault

Hi, has anyone had a fault with their tec pack battery not charging right? Mine has done this three times now where it gets to 80% and then the charger goes red. The battery should show up all the blue lights when it reaches each percentage but mine only shows the 80% light then goes off.

    Focus Jam TEC pack

Like you say why would you, but yes you can. You would have to keep stopping though and switch it off and disconnect or connecting the battery lead .

    Focus Jam TEC pack

Price wise You don't seem to see them any cheaper than £459 I only use mine on my longer rides. My ride yesterday was 42 miles with 4700ft of climbing, did nearly all of this in eco with the odd little burst of trail. I used the tec batt first until flat and then finished with 2 bars left on the...
