Have you tried to gently pull some more of the cable out of the head tube? On mine I was able to push the excess cable into the head tube and then pull it back out. It was fairly free moving, in or out of the head tube.
Thank you Rod B.!! I even called Shimano and they couldn’t give me a straight answer, as to which display I should get. Thanks to you, I have a display that works perfectly for me. Absolutely, plug and play! Super easy!
I don’t know if you ever got your question answered? Yes, the Shimano M8150 XT cranks do work. I went ahead and changed out the chainring to a Shimano 34T SM-CRE80-12-B also. I removed the chain guide. I don’t think it’s necessary. I put it through the paces, without any issue. Excuse the dirt...
What is the easiest way to tell the difference between the two? I just got the bike and I know the bike had just arrived at the place I purchased from, so I would assume it’s the newer ones. I just want something that is easy and plug and play, so to speak. Thanks for the info, RickBullotta!
Which one of these units can I plug the existing cable ends, that already attach to the dongle that came with the Orbea Rise, EM800, or MT800 display? I wish that someone would make an app, so E-TUBE Ride would work with an Apple Watch. All I want is to know the battery status, at a glance.
I just got the Rise M10 and noticed a lot of rattle too. I did a search, which brought me here. I guess it’s normal. And I thought the noise on my Niner rip-e9 Bosch was bad. I’ll ignore it!
