Happy new bike day, I've been riding the cube 140 model (624w gen 4 ) for just over 2 years on to different models.
My m10 arrived last Friday.
3 rides in. I love it, Its just on its 1st full charge in the garage. 52 miles from 3 rides with 5% battery left ( no range extender) , for my area...
1st ride out today. chuffed to bits, cracking bike, I've just about got to grips with understanding the mode parameter adjustments.
I don't think I will bother much switching between the 2 profiles. I have profile one set now and it feels good although it did take some tweaking, initially I had...
:) its all yours Tony, you need to upgrade to my old AT140 mate lol.
Nice to no my original bike is still going strong, and to think that was my 1st adventure into the hobby. I'm now on my 3rd bike within 3 years  No wonder I'm skint .
I hope the orbea is as reliable as my last two...
I tried that one but they insisted, my cube also came from them and i tried that also. I would rather have it in the manufactures box and unmolested but hey ho, it will not move a wheel until i check it all over (y)
You have to love a new bike day, slightly stressful after being told the DPD driver couldn't be arsed to lift it from his van so barrel rolled it to my drive :( ( i wasn't home) .
After 3hrs of messing up the invisiframe kit, bubbles galore and a sticking ends problem i have come inside for...
Fair play mate, a lot more balls than most of us have, I don't think anyone needed convincing of the police incompetence and lack of interest with regards these crimes, most will lead them to the dregs of society, they would much rather hang around the nice parts of town or piss about in cars...
Purchased by me new on 21/11/2020 and delivered on 28/11/2020.
All documents and purchase receipt are present and come with the bike.
2049 miles. Rides without fault, everything works as should.
Most of those miles have been light xc rides in eco.
At a push i would say 70% in eco 20% in...
Bugger, I've decided on the rise m10 but looking around on the web a lot have been discounted to just below 7k, most have now sold out so there could be a new model on the way hence discounts.
That being said there's still a few in stock at the full 7.5k but who wonts an out of date bike at...
;) Sorry Zimmerframe i shouldn't alter peoples posts but it did make me laugh.
I don't click on the spesh posts, I'm not a fan of these bikes but i am honestly shocked at the amount of motors flying around . Not for me.
Any info with regards the two bikes, I'm tempted by the orbea but wont to hold out for the new trek , i guess your busy trying to swap out the drive train ;)
That picture above is from riding into a muddy field. Avoid fields at all cost when winter arrives , to be honest i avoid them in all weathers because you can guarantee there's going to be more than one torturous style to lift your bike over .
Stop washing it, life's to short, once the newness wore off mine i don't bother. Its a MTB.
Yes i clean the drive train properly but I'm not anal on it.
If it comes back really muddy in winter ( to be honest i try and avoid the worse ) i just stick the hose on the worse and blow dry the crap...
Thank you, sounds like my perfect bike but i think i might have to wait and have a nosey around the trek when it lands, although that's even less power than the rs unit .
Interesting , ive been on the bosch gen 4 motor for nearly 3 years ( 2 bikes) . I dont need the range and never use turbo, to be honest i guess where i live its trail/xc riding.
I am seriously tempted buy the rise.
How would you compare the modes and power , bosch gen 4 on a 25 kg bike i can...
Some big mileage hear , I think I'm more astonished at peoples ability to hang onto the same bike for years, fair play.
Me on the other hand gets bored .
A fool and his money spring to mind but i guess if your a fool you shouldn't have any money in the 1st place ;)
I still have a certain...
Living the dream Rob, fair play.
I can see me being 8k poorer when these bikes hit the floor, and yes i wont be going for the high price version  .
On a negative note unlike Rob i will be at work the following morning after a skin full of beers admiring my purchase and justifying...
:sneaky: 2014 will be the next big leap in emtb technology , the perfect emtb will be the same weight as a normal bike, it will have a 3nm motor powered buy 3 triple AAA Duracell batteries, it will look exactly like a normal mtb and be indistinguishable from the real thing, you will have to...
The more i read about these bikes the more I'm tempted. I class 30 miles as a decent ride with most being between 15 and 20. 625 battery lasts nearly 60 miles for me ( i don't need that) , no mountains just road work and trails or wild park. I guess 80% in eco and 20% tour is my go to on most...
