    Pic of the Day

Clandeboye, N Ireland a couple of hours ago. Yet another beezer day to be out on a bike. Very warm, very dry and paradoxically very muddy in places, but most importantly very enjoyable. Think I have got the suspension adjusted nicely and the bike is riding really well. A 17 mile pootle...

Bangor, N Ireland earlier. My goodness this is just incredibly good weather for a pootle. Had a quick scoot out to try out new forks ( took a punt on the half price Pikes at CRC/Wiggle - so far so very good) And broke the 1K mark. Another hot, dusty, and just lovely grand day out.

Crawfordsburn, Co Down N Ireland very recently. See previous posts for the gist. We had biblical rain overnight so some mud has returned. A muddy, dusty and very warm grand day out.

Ballyholme, Bangor N Ireland not long ago. Ditto previous posts…..warm, dry, dusty, sweet etc etc First summer evening ride in ages ( well, I suppose from last summer) and it was just wonderful. Trails are just riding incredibly well and isnt it odd how in the UK a period of warm sunny weather...

Traditional food at its best! We settled for a bacon and sausage bap with brown sauce. And coffee.

    Pic of the Day

Bangor, N Ireland today and a decade ago. Our usual meeting point for local pootles 10 years apart to the day. Its quite scary that I remember the first pic really well…I realised on that ride I was overbiked and subsequently moved from the Heckler to a Cotic Soul which was later replaced by an...

It was £2.50. And worth every penny! ( the chocolate sprinkles were 50p extra) I wonder what a 99 costs nationally and internationally?

Helens Tower, Bangor N Ireland very recently. An absolute cracker of a day today. Usual trails, but in unusual riding conditions . It was sunny, warm, dry and dusty and just astonishingly good fun riding trails that just last week were still mostly damp and muddy. First ride with a new ( to...

Lord Wardens, Bangor N Ireland not long ago. A cracker pootle through the woods today and it was perfect riding conditions. Warm, dry and sunny although some stubborn muddy puddles still persist they didn’t detract from a grand day out. My front mud guard is off which means it’s officially...

    Rise H30 2022 - shock upgrade contemplation.

This is probably a daft question and Im sure if I Googled Id find the answers, but to avoid possible confusion I thought Id ask. What mounting kit do I need to mount a used Fox Float X Performance to my H30? Or can I use the existing bits on the DPS Performance by swapping them over? Is...

    Pic of the Day

Bangor, N Ireland a wee while ago. The end of another local pootle. Trails were very slippery today following last nights rain but it was otherwise a warm, dry day and very enjoyable apart from the abundance of nettles and swarms of flies. Still a grand day out though.

    Pic of the Day

Ballyholme, N Ireland earlier. A cracker day out along local trails that have dried out remarkably well over the last week and are actually dusty in places. Very warm, very dry and very enjoyable 20 miles of pootle. Im pretty sure I did a bunny hop too. And with all that exertion its vitally...

    Pic of the Day

Helens Tower, N Ireland not long ago. What a difference a day or two makes! A warm, dry and very enjoyable grand day out and the first ride in ages when my bike didnt need hosed down afterwards. Obligatory bluebell pic for artistic effect.

    Pic of the Day

Bangor, N Ireland earlier today. A cold, wet and windy but nonetheless very enjoyable pootle this morning. A grand day out despite the mud, puddles and stingy nettles incorporating almost 20 miles of local trails. Simply splendid.
