    Hi Hemi, I've ridden woodhill a few times with my old 140 (mattock 160) and it was perfectly fine, have also done a day at Rotorua riding eagle vs shark and corners: i'd say I am a pretty average rider and prefer trails over jumps so I don't see why 120mm in the rear wouldn't be fine.     i'm not sure what brand of stand my mechanic uses but he often clamps in a road drop bar upside down and hangs the bike off that - seems to do the trick!

    I'm up on the coast just north of Auckland, i had a Mattoc on my regular Merida 140 which was pretty nice, been using a 160mm X Fusion on a hardtail which has also been good. Plenty of options...

    No not yet, but on the look out for a fork - was going to go with 150mm but good to know a 160mm works well, there seems to be more of that length fork around here in NZ
