Plenty of meridas available in nz, local chain Bikebarn have the new bikes on their website but I believe they have only just landed.
The 2018/19 models have been pretty good sellers from what I’ve seen.
I have an E120 with a 150mm fork and it's been everywhere my old Merida 140 went.
I reckon the new E140 would be a good fit - 130 rear and 140 up front.
The E140 8000 looks pretty good!
I was down in Rotorua (NZ) over the weekend and had a quick look in a few stores - I have an E120 and before that a regular 140 so was hoping to cast my eyes on the new E140, turns out they have only just landed but after checking them out online and looking at other internal battery bikes i'm...
I would first look at pushing the fork out a bit, I extended my revolution from 130 to 150mm and it has been great. I left the 2.8 on the back and put a 2.5 on the front - even with my limited ability the bike is pretty capable.
have been pretty happy with my e120, it goes anywhere my old 140 would go but is quicker uphill! this looks to be even better for me as I don't need a 170mm beast.
pricing will be the killer but I hope they release an alu framed bike with the carbon one.
Hi, I went for a 150mm shaft in the end, slackend out the front a little. I didn't spend much time riding it with a 130mm fork but since the change I have been pretty impressed with what the bike can do and have been hitting stuff that I would have done with my old one-forty.
have just put a 2.5...
I think so, when setting up we used the shifters to scroll through the settings, I haven’t had a good play with it yet but I’m sure it works like the normal shifter set up.
got out for my first decent ride this week - up in the hills of the Coromandel above Whangamata.
can't believe how much fun going up singletrack is! first impressions of the bike are pretty good, didn't notice any need for more rear travel but certainly need to change saddle and grips.
all in...
