I’ve only run it in the high position, as it’s plenty slack for a trail bike. I get enough pedal strikes that I’m not even interested in trying low mode. My composite pedals are beat to hell and the cranks are pretty bruised up already after less than 200 miles.
I am getting less strikes than I...
I rode in boost mode today for an experiment and my battery ran out at 13 miles, 2000ft climbing. I’m surprised that trail mode uses so much power by comparison.
At 190cm I’d get the XXL. I’m 195cm with an XXL and it does not feel as big as it sounds on paper. Keep in mind a lot of brands XL bikes are longer than this.
14.9 miles
2300ft climbing
Trail mode whole time, battery depleted
Anyone else getting this poor of range? I’m going to have to start using eco mode a lot more.
34T ring, 160mm cranks, 46t rear cog and 50lb enduro bike make for a tough go up anything steep. I’d go to a 28T if I was planning on pushing the limits of my battery range.
So did it just power down completely and is dead, or what’s the story? Mine has cut out on me a few times unexpectedly requiring me to turn it back on, it’s always instantly turned back on without that problem. Figured there’s just a loose wire/connector somewhere and can’t be too hard to get...
My only real complaint with the decoy so far is the low BB height, even with the flip chip in the high setting. My pedals are getting mashed and caused one low speed crash in a rock garden where it caught me off guard/off balance.
Anyone have issues with getting their smartphone to connect to the bicycle using the E-Tube app? My phone isn’t detecting it, and the manual suggests going to the Bluetooth portion of the settings menu on the bike’s computer but it’s not showing one. I feel like I must be missing something simple.
In Canada a base Decoy is $6800 while a Turbo Levo Expert is $11,300. Components seem pretty evenly matched. That extra $4500 goes a long way, if you’re concerned about warranty pains you can buy a really nice 2nd bike with it such as a Capra AL Comp.
No regrets here. I had an issue with my...
I got 17 miles and 3000ft climbing on a full charge, all on trail mode with a couple of brief boosts. My power went to off a 1/4 mile from the truck while in boost on a steep road climb, I was able to restart it in eco and pedal it back to the truck, where it went off again about 50ft away...
