Just took mine out on its maiden voyage around CYB Beast trail. The Decoy is an animal, soaked it all up and saved me a couple of times where I was skill challenged including an enormous two wheel drift down the rocky helter skelter hairpins on one of the Adams family sections. 28 mile in total...
Just heard via Instagram that the Ard Rock Enduro has been cancelled due to flash flooding - gutted just picked up a camper van for the weekend!!
More news to follow.
Oh dear..
The only way that would look exciting is with a heavy dose of gravity, jumps and gladiatorial combat. Oh wait a minute we've already got that and it's called 4x.
If I recall we tried this on normal mtbs at an AMCA event in the 90s and it looked pants.
Can't imagine it looking any more exciting on emtb, especially with pro mx as comparison. ?
Tim - your identical to my measurements and I ordered a small on the basis that the 2 main measurements (reach and wheelbase) were both slightly longer than my current small 2018 Levo which I can chuck around at will and which is stable enough for me in the rough. I noted that YT said I was just...
Ordered 28th April, with 10th July availability date. Paid for it about 5th July. Notified of shipment 12th July, arrived 22nd July.
That was for a small Pro in blue /white. Whole process was painless, same as for my previous 2 YTs. ???
Just got my Pro delivered today. Door to door less than 12 days after the original available date. 3rd bike from YT and same story each time. Can't fault em.
For normal riding I use soft fox knee n elbow pads, Bell Super FF. Swop the soft fox knee pads for hard fox pads and add TLD armour for uplift days. Cracked ribs twice before using the TLDs but both times on fairly innocuous trails that I still probably wouldn't wear the TLDs for - realise I...
If you're between sizes I'd generally recommend sizing down to gain some playfulness, as the weight of an ebike provides plenty of stability anyway. At 5.5 I tested both M and S and the small was much more fun
My 2018 Levo had 2 water ingress issues, the second leading to a new motor replaced under warranty. Both events within a few weeks of crossing the river at Gisburn, so I would agree to avoid submerging the engine. New engine is faultless but I wouldn't dunk it - learnt my lesson.
I got notification my Pro had shipped yesterday which is only a couple of days after the original availability date. Should be here in about 10 days I believe.
In my experience you don't get any updates from YT other then a status change once you've paid. Other than that, once you get to the originally stated availability date keep checking your order status via your account logon as it should change to 'completed', and provide a DHL tracking code a...
Can see new orders for same bike are now into December - must be a huge demand.
Test ridden one twice and can't wait for it to arrive. Current Levo will be going on sale very soon ;)
P
That's pretty standard. My Levo has a note on charge cycles that suggest on the frequency I recharge it will need replacing in 4 years.
Its just another consumable, albeit more expensive than a set of tyres :)
To the guys who haven taken delivery in the UK, what was the delivery time from notification its shipped to arrival. I've just been notified my Pro has been shipped and want to anticipate when it will arrive so that I can pre-book it in for a frame wrap.
Thanks in advance.
There are a couple of sections on the Monkee that are a step up in difficulty from the Dog: mainly narrower, but nothing that's not rollable. Avoid the 2 or 3 short black options mid way around if your dad's less confident, as these are rightly a further step up.
Dog and Monkee are a great...
Tyre pressures are such a personal subject. As a rule of thumb I start at about 30psi for 2.2s or 2.4s, 20-25 for 2.5s or 2.6s and then 15-20 for 2.8s or 3.0s. Back a couple of psi higher than the front. But weight, terrain and riding style will adjust the above by maybe 5psi anyway. Add in...
