Just sharing my experience too.
I had on my recent bikes the following brakes:
- Shimano MT520 kit: excellent power. They are more than enough for average use. I honestly replaced them just to get experience in servicing the MTB, not for a real need. I would not do that again with another bike...
Then maybe I live in the perfect world.
I sold recently two bikes and gave the option to the guys to ride around without asking anything to make sure they were not running away. When they came to the appointment they were clearly bikers like us, checking the bike with me, asking questions...
Thanks for sharing the experience with this bike. Tomorrow I am going to bring my wife to the LBS where they have one 2022 model with discount. If the size fits her we are most probably going to buy it.
Your post made even more convinced this can be a good bike for my wife.
I don't really think the Stilus will go away soon.
They are presenting a new line of bikes but I am afraid they will be on the higher price range... let's see.
For sure if they keep having a ridiculous stock they will not go too far.
Hello,
Have a look here:

It seems it requires Local Shop intervention.
I think that V3 is still worth it.
We should not forget that prices are very high and almost all brands are increasing them.
Truth is that so far there is no availability.
I wanted to buy one for my wife and found a Size M which was too big. Size S nowhere available.
But when we went to check...
And here we go with the last bit of content.
I installed the dummy battery cover.
It's fine on the side of the battery plug. A bit oversized on the other side. It actually gos out of the frame a bit.
It's pretty unstable the lower part. I guess it will be noisy to use on trails.
Overall I...
I got it delivered.
Clearly a 3d printed part.
I would say a well done part (I have a bit of experience with 3d printers).
Magnetic cover for the battery plug very well designed. Weight 323 gr.
I now only need to test it removing the original battery. Will do it soon and post more here.
I found a new bike at a good price in one LBS close to where I live.
All good but the bike has an old e8000 unit.... do you think is it worth to buy such a old unit in 2022?
Can I ask you why did you order a new cable instead of claiming warranty?
I had a similar issue but to me was the application saying that the cable was not properly connected. Nothing on the display. I simpy did a cable reseat and error is gone...
There was a previous 3ad in this same forum that pointed to Home | MTB Dummy
I immediately ordered one. The owner of that website only speaks German apparently and he contacted me saying that they have some delays in arranging the order (a couple of weeks). He offered to cancel the order but I...
