Foam tyre inserts ?? Are they worth it

I found cushcore to be slightly more difficult, but only about a minute more fitting time. Just make sure you get the bead into the rim channel. You can do it with a regular plastic tyre lever. I'd still suggest rimpact though. Depending on your trails, inserts are either a nice piece of mind...

    Tell me about trail pants

They're the ones. They're much more comfy than I expected. Knee pads are fine underneath. I'd switch to shorts and enduro sleeves for summer. Shorts let more air move around the top of your legs. Let's face it, you're still going to lose skin at times.

    Tell me about trail pants

I just checked your location. You'd get a solid chunk of the year in pants over in Gippsland.

    Tell me about trail pants

I wear 100% trail/dh pants for quite a bit of the year. They have breathing holes so dust and mud does get in a bit. If it is humid, I'd say no, keep to shorts and maybe some enduro sleeve shin/knee guards. Trail pants are great though. Stacks end up with less skin removal. Maybe check out...

    Ep8 rs full power

Also it will depend on if the FF bikes are in boost the whole climb. The Rise gets up hills pretty quickly with a bit of force through the pedals.

    Ep8 rs full power

If you do a bit of a search in the forum, a few people mentioned some motor vibration at full power, possibly due to battery limitations. I think there was a happy point somewhere between stock and full grunt. Do a search and see!

    Can anyone recommend some pedals

I have shimano saints, dmr v8s, ht supremes and another pair of dmr (can't think of which model exactly). They're all good. The only pair I haven't liked are Syncros that are on one of my brother's bikes. Have ridden crank brothers, one ups and others. I've rarely noticed the pedals to be a big...

EXT Storia compatible with Orbea Rise size M?

Don't forget frame flex too. Not rubbing on a stationary bike will be different from what could happen from a large drop. These frames are flexy!

    Fazua Trial

On a road bike you'd have to ride it in 100mm of loose river pebbles to make it feel like it would on an mtb. Or fit some knobbies to the bike.

    Finally Happened - Snapped Chain

It is just missing a great lumping motor and battery from that picture!

Warning: Do not buy your bike from JensonUSA

At least that would allow them to have the dropper and possibly seat installed, cables cut to a good length. Then it would mostly be a bars and wheels back on situation for the customer on delivery.

Warning: Do not buy your bike from JensonUSA

Hey ebsocal, I did read about the dealer assembly bit. The point I was making is that they must throw away the orbea box. Surely they can get away with assembly, make sure everything fits fine and then disassemble to go back to the original box and chuck a sticker on there. I know that is...

Warning: Do not buy your bike from JensonUSA

It is also hilarious that Jenson ship in their own box. Orbea have a perfectly good box that they could put a sticker on.

Warning: Do not buy your bike from JensonUSA

Do the bikes ship to the US with the battery installed? Here they ship separately and the importer installs it.

Is it adjustable? It’s producing friction with the chain

Hi, I couldn't quite follow why you couldn't reinstall the original washers. The MRP chain guides and bash guards use different thickness washers to get the guide aligned which is what made me think of trying a different thickness. As the above post mentions, it could be a defect. If it is...

Is it adjustable? It’s producing friction with the chain

If you have a look at the Rise bluepaper the washers are between the mount and the frame. Grab some thinner washers.

No rotation is possible with the design from memory.

    Price increases

I feel like this is like saying if you buy a specialized demo you will get Loic Bruni's bike. His is far more expensive, far more optimised and not at all what you can buy off the shelf.

I should say mounted to the frame.
