You bought the wrong model. Try to send it back and get one for the "smart" model, or buy the "smart" acc cable and look for someone who can solder 2 wires together. Installing is plug&place, any technician is capable of doing that. Bosch service has to activate the acc port.

As my cassette lasts twice as long as my chain, I alter 2 chains now. Test: Once the cassette starts rejecting a new chain, skipping, it's worn. That happens when you did ride and use it with a +0.75 chain. You can still ride a used cassette and a used chain, till they die together.

The "Ergon SM E-Mountain Core Prime" doesn't win the beauty price against the standard edition, but it looks and feels a lot more forgiving. With the saddlebag mounted, the difference is a lot less notable. To be tested.
