First Ride Today. An 18 mile quick rip extending past dusk on the best flow trails in Cottonwood, NV. (3 mile smile, Badger Pass, Late Night, Cactus Slalom, and Molly).
Rode the same trails yesterday on my Levo S-Works.
I was really close on climbing times.
These tires & wheels unlock this...
From Specialized site, the “FRAME” description for all 4 carbon models is identical:
“FACT 11m full carbon, 29 Trail Geometry, Integrated down tube battery, enclosed internal cable, Command Post routing, 148mm spacing, fully sealed cartridge bearings, 150mm of travel”
I’ve owned both. Kenevo for the win on agility. Much easier to carve and maneuver. Plus the break over clearance on the decoy is very low by comparison...it’s hard to get over obstacles often striking the under motor shield when the Kenevo clears easily. The Kenevo is a much better bike imo.
I upgraded to TRP Quadiems on my Kenevo...I have had just about every other option...Saints would be my previous favorite for heavy bikes...Quadiems are better. Great modulation and feel, and they never get fatigued.
It is a 2019 with the Chameleon finish that was put into service last October. So it is less than 6 months old. I will post pictures. It is in 10/10 shape. It has never been laid down and is 100% stock. It’s a sweet ride, its just in tweener bike for me now.
Because I don’t.
I will trade my Levo S-Works Size Large with 600 miles on the Odometer for your:
Kenevo Comp S3 +$2000USD
Or
Kenevo Expert S3 or S4 straight up.
You keep your battery, I keep mine and we cross ship them.
I don’t ride my Levo anymore, but could use a second Kenevo for my...
The trick is to swap to even faster rolling tires...I have a Kenevo, Levo, and an SL. The SL with Aspens gets upto and carries speed way better!
Pump & pop factor ratings:
0/10 on Kenevo (by design with springs front and rear on mine, duh...but a 10/10 fun on steep and janky both up and...
Yes, Same pedals.
Ok RE sealant, yes. Estimate the sealant at between .2 and .4 lbs, then alloy frame is ~2.5lbs heavier.
I was leaning towards alloy until I did this research. Just too much weight difference.
Btw, I started with a comp Carbon, first round of mods have me at 38.2 lbs. Next...
It’s about 3lbs actual.
Pictured alloy bike was without tubes (513g).
Pictured Carbon comp, exactly the same except frame and tubes.
Diff 1lb 13oz or 1.81lbs plus tubes at 1.13 = 2.94 lbs difference.
NX and GX use different free hub bodies. So no. I’m not sure if you can switch freehub bodies on the Roval wheels. You can switch freehub bodies on any DT Swiss ratchet hub.
NX uses standard hub, GX uses XD hub.
Can anyone confirm, what is the model number of the praxis Carbon cranks off of the S-Works SL. I am not seeing it in their site? Are they the same as the Creo cranks?
