I use these shoes on flats - get some Shimano MT33/43/43 cleat covers, which will need trimming very slightly with a stanley blade. They grip like buggery on my Stamp 2's and I have no complaints. Great shoes.

You can replace the shifter with a non ebike version of course to give you multi shift.

A piece of strong string or a bit of electrical wire does the job nicely. Stamp on the pedal with the brakes on and with the link at the top to refit.
