OT: I was wondering, why I couldn't see the image, so I tried to download it. It's 7.1 MB!!! This forum apparently won't resize uploaded pics to reduce data usage and bandwidth. So maybe everyone tries to be a little more sensitive to file size. 😉
That's exactly one of my concerns. Apple published a warning concerning possible camera damage, albeit not using it on a bicycle, but on a motorbike, where high speed vibrations can cause issues apparently. That's why I'd possibly rather go with a MTB specific mount.
So how does everyone else...
First up, I generally don't like my phone attached to my bike and prefer carrying it in my pocket or a backpack – especially when riding trails.
On the other hand it an be very handy to have the phone in direct reach and use it to navigate on a tour.

If you need tubeless ready and a commuter tyre that doesn't look out of place on an emtb, have a look at the Continental Ruban, which would be my choice no. 1.

Today I replaced my front rotor to a 220 mm SRAM Centerline. The old 200 mm one had 8.700 km on the clock and only had 1.4 mm thickness left, so I guess the replacement was overdue.
I absolutely cannot imagine that a smouldering fire would last several weeks under the surface just to break out on a rainy day. Much rather a lightning could have struck. But who knows...
Today was the day - my new 2023 RockShox Lyrik Select+ (150mm, Charger 3 RC2 damper) was delivered! 🤩
It replaces the original Fox 34 Float Rhythm fork on my 2021 Levo SL Comp. Didn't have time for more than a quick 8 km ride this afternoon, but the damping already feels so much better than...
